Key to good practice - Exaggeration!
Our goal is to get the clubhead inside the yellow cone on the downswing.
Photo 1 shows the initial position where the clubhead was too much outside (to the right) which caused a slice.
... Picture 2 shows a training aid being used to exaggerate the correct feeling, this moves the club position to the inside (left) of the cone.
Picture 3 shows the training aid removed but a new feeling has been created. Bingo! The club is in the perfect position. Straight shots!!

Won 3 lessons with Mark through a Facebook competition. Had, had several lessons before with other PGA coaches, but Marks approach really makes it interesting and I could listen to his knowledge about the golf swing all day. Already seen results after just 2 of the 3 lessons. 10 yards gained on my irons, my swing plane improved and more importantly consistency in my driver.

I started having lessons with Mark a couple of years ago, I had fallen out of love with golf with not being able to play very often after the birth of my daughter.



After a few lessons he soon had me back on track giving me easy to understand instruction plus fun ways of inputting what I needed to work on in my practice sessions. I have since started to get my handicap back down, playing a couple of matches for the league team and winning 2 trophies at my club Renishaw. Most importantly enjoying my golf again.



Last week I went away for his coaching trip to La Manga, it was excellent. He worked on every aspect of our games both on the impressive range and short game areas, as well as playing 3 lots of 9 holes with the 7 of us over the 3 courses there. On top of this, since returning, he has also sent me swing videos and a game improvement document in which I can refer to and aid my practice over the winter months to hopefully get me off to a flying start next season.

Well worth the money, Mark shared his time & efforts with everyone making sure everyone had a great time on and off the course.

I've just received my assessment email from our stat sheets & marks on range & course observations which are very helpful & highlights areas in most need of working on with practice games to help me improve �

I played in our medal competition on Saturday & shot a net 69 ! 1st time I've had a handicap dock in a long while , due to mark's good advice & coaching skills !
