We would like to say a very BIG THANK YOU to everyone who donated socks in 2019. They were taken, and gratefully received over the Christmas period by Sheffield cathedral archer project. On the 28th December our podiatrist Emma volunteered with the homeless & roofless at Christmas non profit charity, providing foot care to the vulnerable and homeless community in Sheffield. Everyone was very grateful for the treatment that they received; and even more so for their new socks ππ£
So once again a massive thank you for all of your kind donations.
We would like to wish all of our patients a very merry Christmas ππ£π²π Our clinic is now closed. All telephone calls and messages will be replied on the 28th December. Thank you.

AUTUMN FEET. Autumn is here and your feet will now be hidden away in socks and shoes/boots for the next several months. But now is not the time to take a break from your regular foot care routine!! Autumn is an important time to focus on getting our feet back into tip-top condition after a summer of flip flops, dehydrated skin & nails. How to care for your feet in autumn ....... * apply regular moisturising lotion to feet. * take a nail polish break... * exfoliate feet using a foot file regularly * choose the right footwear. Have your feet measured, and consider the appropriate type for your activity ππ£

BABYβS FEET πΆπ»π£ Itβs recommended to measure your babyβs feet regularly to make sure youβre buying the right shoes for the right stage; ensuring baby has the correct support for their development. Daily care should include washing & drying their feet, whilst toenails should be trimmed regularly. Choosing socks made from natural fibres will help to keep their little feet cool.
CHILDRENβS FOOTWEAR. Our feet experience up to 7 stages of walking development. To aid healthy foot growth and to walk correctly, our shoes need to fit precisely. Babyβs feet grow, on average, 3 sizes in their first year; 2 sizes until they start school; and 1 size until theyβre in their teens. Every child is however different, so itβs important to get their shoes checked, and feet measured regularly by trained fitters πΆπ»π¦πΌπ£
