To mark Nick Matthew's retirement from the professional squash tour, the Hallamshire is hosting a celebration evening of Nick's career and life at the Hallamshire.
This will be Saturday 20th of October, it is a free of charge and ticketed event. Tickets will be available in September so watch this space!

7pm - 1 Point KO tournament (including Pro's), can you beat Nick Matthew in 1 point?! £2 per person
7.45pm - Play a Pro, choose from Nick Matthew, Nick Wall, Harry Falconer & Alex Cutts. Take on your Pro and see how many points you can win in 10 minutes. The player with most points against each Pro wins a Prize. £10 - £20 per person.

The Hallamshire is putting on a free Ladies coaching & social evening at 7pm on Tuesday 18th September 2018 for Hallamshire members.
The evening will aim to bring female squash players together and help show what's on offer at the Hallamshire for them.
This will include:
... - A 'Meet & Greet' with the Ladies S & D captains, Holly Moore & Elaine Guirey. - Kate Martin will be their as a representative of the Hallamshire Squash Committee. - An introduction to the squash leagues & the potential for a ladies squash box league. - An introduction to Apex Coaching Academy. - A free drink in the bar following the on court session.

The gym does get busy but the majority of members are happy to share equipment if you just ask. There can be a lot of young members in there, but again the majority are nice and will share. Staff are friendly, supportive and knowledgeable. Nice to see a woman who lifts working in the gym - Helen rocks!

I played in the VX World Cup at Hallamshire. The facility was excellent. Friendly staff. Good layout. An excellent event. We used some of the squash courts which were fantastic. The tennis courts looked great too. Thanks!
