Yummy!!! Great value for money food is always spot on, frequent change of menu keeps it interesting. Atmosphere is good I often get take always as I own the shop opposite and they are always kind enough to bring it over to me. Fantastic independent business that we are lucky to have in our town.

You guys never fail to disappoint, whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner it's always perfect, fresh, and great combinations. I even love you music play choice on Friday and Saturday nights. Thank you for always getting it right

Went for dinner last night at Hartfields. The food was delicious and the service was great too. The waitress went out of her way for us as she popped out to source a bottle of alcohol free beer as my husband was driving. Nothing was too much trouble ☺️

We often eat here but last night the chefs absolutely surpassed themselves! My husband had the roast turkey which had everything you would expect from a Christmas dinner but was beautifully presented with a lovely range of vegetables. I had perfectly cooked sea bass served with a really tasty risotto. We both ended our meal with an out of this world clementine Christmas cake, light and fruity.

As usual service was impeccable and friendly even though they were fully booked and busy because of late night shopping. If you are looking for a Christmas meal with a difference get to Hartfields quickly

We live in East Grinstead and love coming to Hartfields for a lovely breakfast.

Of all the times we have been to Hartfields, we have never had a bad word or any cause for complaints about either the staff or quality of food.

Very well presented food and coffee, good for vegetarians too. Service still friendly despite daunting expansion!

Took my children to Hartfields for breakfast 🥞 pancakes were thick and fluffy. Accompanied by a pot of 🍁 maple syrup and a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, incredible and clean plates all round. Staff are welcoming and very friendly. Highly recommend eating there.

This is the best spot in town. Great coffee and tea and some of the best sandwiches my husband has ever had in the UK and that is a HUGE compliment. I always look forward to visiting when I am back.

Selection of tasty, fresh vegan food options and kept my omnivore friend happy too. Great service with a smile. Get my vote - congratulations Harfields.

Just popped in for a quick cuppa with my mum and had the best Latte I've ever had!!!! Such a lovely little place, great atmosphere & very friendly staff. We need to visit again to try the food as it looked delicious!

I had a lovely lunch a very generous sized Pesto salad with a delicious chocolate and hazelnut brownie to take away which was also excellent.

The Service was very prompt, attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend a visit.

They also stock a very enticing array of fresh produce and artisan products.

Hey guys, apart from Hartfields having such a warm, community feel, welcome atmosphere, it is run incredibly efficiently thanks to all its wonderfully, smilie staff. As well as maintaining a professional efficient role, they also speak to the customers in such a down to earth manor with banter here and there. I couldn't feel more comfortable around people. The coffee is amazing and taken care over when made and can only be enjoyed. (Matt = perfectionist right there). Love the chats I have with Matt about my biz. Very flattered that he asks how things are going every now and then. Just shows the staff at Hartfields are genuinely caring. Plus Liddie's interesting plans about travelling, wanting to teach and more. Also, not forgetting what an amazing job everyone does behind the scenes. My point is that they don't speak to people any differently to how they would usually. Just fun, laughter and chit chat all the time while getting on with the job at hand. Very impressed. VERY. Love to all xxx

Brilliant food and lovely helpful and friendly staff, I recommend hartfields to everyone I know, a really lovely local business

Booked a table for Saturday night on 5th March . Cosy friendly ambience . Menu was varied ,choices for all tastes .I had the best black pudding scotch egg ever! Followed by the lamb chops with feta cheese,tabbouleh & pomegranate... Huge portions & delicious. Finished nicely with lemon posset & homemade shortbread... Service by Jess & team was excellent & I would thoroughly recommend Hartfields to my friends. We'll be back!

Amazing cafe and fabulous local produce too. Never had a bad meal here and sitting outside in the sun is brilliant. Would and do recommend it to everyone.

Food is always good only they don't serve drinks (coffee/tea) for dairy intolerant people without using sweetened soya or almond milk. I don't understand why they can't buy unsweetened soya or almond milk, after all if anyone does want it sweetened they can add sugar. It's such a shame as I often go elsewhere just to get coffee the way I like it!!! Also I bought take away cappuccino recently and was told it was unsweetened only to find out later (on the train) that it was sweetened had to throw it away, now let's face it these drinks don't come cheap.

Great food but not sure why you charge an extra £1 to scramble the eggs. Croissants are £2 to eat in as opposed to £1 but you dont get butter or jam or anything to warrant the double in price. It seems every time I eat with you I am left querying the bill which you are very reluctant to hand out. Warning to others....always ask for the itemised bill and check it.
