Went yesterday had a lovely meal the vegan tagine was amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Went for late lunch with my husband, daughter partner and their two year old , 3 courses all very good and delivered with a smile . We were surprised drink refill has gone but I can only assume it was being abused or proving expensive to run . We were happy otherwise and will be back , we do come occasionally and have done for quite a few years .

We visited for lunch on Friday, loved the new menu! The new Bean Burger was delicious and my family enjoyed the ribs and chicken and prawns that they had! We enjoyed it so much we returned for breakfast today (Sunday). Well cooked, delicious, hot breakfast. Perfectly cooked eggs, even though we wanted them cooking differently. Very friendly, helpful staff every time we visit.

My daughter celebrated her 18th here and the staff couldn’t of done anymore if they had tried there were brilliant from start to finish especially one of our servers Tash an absolute pleasure she was nothing was too much effort for her, and plus everyone’s food was delicious too, no complaints all round.

Me and my partner went for breakfast, everything was spot on, I added the steak and was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. All staff friendly and helpful highly recommend for breakfast and will be visiting one evening to try a nice big bit of steak

Maddy was a great waitress, friendly, kind and funny. The food was lush! Really impressed with the succulent chicken and prawns and the other half with his mega meal of ultimate burger, great price! Will be back again soon :)

Excellent night buble tribute they must keep having these night's as the atmosphere was relaxed & friendly Xmas menu good value for money x there where 10 of us & food was fab thanks harvester in barlbrough much better then the chesterfield one!

Went yesterday for my daughters birthday meal, my father in laws steak had fat running through it so was very tough, other than that no problems at all, everyone else enjoyed there meals.

We went for my grandsons birthday and they were very good about bringing his birthday cake out. (He's 6) They even wrote him a birthday card from the staff. I had the festive 2 course meal which was good value for money. But 3 others of our party were disappointed that they had taken the pulled pork burger off the menu and the others who are vegetarian were disappointed they had taken the macaroni cheese off. The children were pleased with their meals but they didn't get any ice cream. Would go again though.

The food we ordered was superb and good value for money, the only downfall was the place was freezing, thought it was because they sat us by the salad fridge so asked to move but it was still cold, to be fair the place wasn't very busy so if filled with more people the temperature may have been okay

Lovely family orientated attraction well worth a visit especially for children with lots of animals and play areas also has a nice cafe to eat inside or outside weather permitting at the end of your visit browse round the gift shop for a nice gift to remind you of your days visit

My husband and I visited last night with our 2 boys and one of our sons friends. Menu was ok. A bit peeved that the refillable soft drinks have finished especially with bringing 3 kids. My main gripe is the kids menu. 2 of our boys ordered a kids meal which should have come with a free ice cream. However, because we didn't order a dilute juice drink with the meals the ice cream was no longer free. Bit cheeky especially as we were spending more money on soft drinks and this wasnt mentioned when we ordered the kids meals either! Wouldn't hurry back!

My dad and I visited on a Sunday afternoon we both ordered the Triple Combo and although there was a little wait it gave us time to have our salad etc.



It was worth the wait it came piping hot and it was absolutely delicious we both throughly enjoyed it.



On the negative side the prices seem to have risen with the new menu and the new look salad bar isn't as good as the old harvester salad cart, there's limited choice and both sides seem to have the same items. The bread rolls have also become smaller and unless you get them just out of the kitchen they are a little tough.

Food was great perfectly cooked to our requirements very presented too.



But.



I had a mixed Grill.

Was asked if I would like Rump or Ribeye with that? O a choice... great I thought.

Ribeye please.

And what sauce would sir like ? What are there I asked. .. peppercorn please. Getting better.



Mrs had full rack of Ribs. Everything was perfect.



My Son aged 4.



3 choices sir on the menu.



We had the age appropriate one 3 courses £4.99 including salad bar of course.



2 drinks ordered for me and the mrs.

Wasn't informed that my sons meal came with a drink included (never received) as was recommended the refill glass.



Mrs ordered an icecream with toffee sauce WITHOUT apple or custard or cream or toppings . Just icream with toffee sauce.

And an icecream for our son (included in deal)



Came with all the trimmings. � no toffee sauce.

I said nicely. Excuse me this isn't ours. The mrs ordered and icecream with toffee sauce?

The lady tried twice to give us a pot of toffee sauce to pour over????

Mrs can't eat apple and doesn't like custard.

No thanks you.

Again she tried.

Asked to change it for what we ordered.

Attitude changed and then the bill came.



Over £10 more than we expected???



Charged me extra for Ribeye steak

extra for peppercorn sauce

Charged us for our sons icecream

And a 4 year old you charged £2.75 for a coke because u said it was refillable. O dear.

Now these 4 additions at cost doesn't add up to £10 I wouldn't think.??

But the bill reflected otherwise.



I must say the chef's presentation was great pity the table service reflected differently.



The waitress should be in double glazing shed be minted...!

They have stopped the drink refills .

Staff pleasant and helpful. Food was average in quality but slightly below average on balance with value for money . I’ve been to numerous Harvester restaurants and the one in Stoke is by far the best . This restaurant is placed 5th out of my 7 Harvester visits .
