Went for our mothers day meal. Everything was fab. They accomodated our booking when I changed it more than once or twice. Our table was all ready with a card and chocs. The meal and the service was lovely. Thanks to all involved for making our day enjoyable �

Went for Tea Saturday night , could see they had been busy , but still meet with a smile and hello, great service at the bar , ordered food , was very nice and the girl that served us at the table was lovely and polite.

We go to the Homestead fairly regularly on a Tuesday morning, today we got mixed up and went but the function we attend wasn't on, the staff were superb. They were friendly, professional and attentive. We couldn't have asked for a better experience this morning. Big thank you to the staff for this morning and for every time we come, they are always amazing with my two and a half year old. Very impressed. Fab breakfast too!

Not the best looking pub , but the food was outstanding couldn't fault one bit , staff where nice and friendly , and very quick service .. if in Rotherham again will go and eat there again.

Nice food friendly staff. The only down point I had was the pub its self nothing to do with the staff but could do with some money spend on it a nice face lift and a lick of paint would make this pub stand out more other than that top marks. Will return again.

Absolutely fantastic food. All came out piping hot and tasty. Our kids both had the Carolina steak which was cooked perfectly and the fish was lovely and crisp! Will definitely be back!!

Went there yesterday four of us 3 15 only 6 people inside few sat outside was told our meal would be ready in 45 minutes apparently there were only 2 bar staff don't know if there were one or two chefs started getting busy about 4 o clock when we should have got our meal it eventually came at 4 40 by then there were loads of people waiting to be served When we went to pay at 4 45 a gentleman had to go and knock on the kitchen door because the people waiting was ridiculous then one of the people serving collapsed because she was shattered

Had the sirloin skillet. Had quite a wait for the food, roughly 40 to 45 minutes. It was good when it finally arrived, was worried about cleanliness in the kitchen as the pub left a lot to be desired.

Food was fine but you really need to change the high chairs, I put my son on one while I was eating, there was no strap to put between his legs only round his arms, and he slid out of the bottom. Luckily I managed to grab him in time otherwise he would have fell on the floor. Please sort this out

Went about 3 weeks ago and it was spot on, yesterday not so good,35 minute wait before food came and it was ordered before 12:00,and when mine finally came it was burnt.Thankfully we had a 50% off coupon.Don't think we'll go again.

We came to your establishment and ordered 5 meals to which 4was ok but my medium to well done steak was burnt but also red in the middle was told by staff that a replacement would be 10 minutes by that time my family had eaten their meals no apology given no alternative was given just not charged for my meal I am really disappointed as we eat there regularly.

Waited 45 mins for a steak and lasagne. Only 3 other tables eating and they were already served, so why the wait?



Medium glass of wine in a small glass - questionable whether it was actually a medium glass.



Disgusting food, cold lasagne, but burnt on the outside, garlic bread, still frozen in the middle.



Steak was served with warmed up chips, a mushroom that was size of a 50p and half of what can only be described as a large cherry tomato.



I requested the staff member to come over to my table ( didn't want to raise the issue in front of other customers). Her response was 'why what's your complaint'!!!!



Refunded my meal, but no apology, no offer of anything different, or even a complimentary drink while my husband ate his meal.

Her only response was 'sorry about that' then walked over to other customers and proceeded to tell them I'd complained!



Dirty tables, top and bottom, the legs of the tables were thick with dirt. Food on the floor, and in the backs of the chairs, window sills filthy.



The customers who were in there were obviously regulars as the staff were very familiar, also the partner along with a baby of the chef were in/out of the kitchen area- health and safety!!!!!!!

Just come back there was a party of 15 of us I ordered the surf n turf steak medium to well done it came out burnt tasted of charcoal noone never came to the table to ask if everything ok we cleared our own table they served desserts while our main meal plates were on the table the pub wasn't busy

check your change is all i can say when questioned it was simply denied but i know for certain payment was made with a 20 and not a 10 for the change to be given only for a 10 just because i forgot the change does not mean i was dumb enough to know what i gave you... pissed off to say the least i questioned it as the note was folded and even asked my partner and she agreed is was definitely a 20 as she saw me give it him good job the pub was full of elderly or i would have created a scene...

Went tonight for food, waited an 1:15 minutes for our meal, there was only 2 of us. I even asked half hour before how long it was going to be. No one mentioned that there was going to be a wait on food. When it came it didn’t look nice, the beef burger tasted like rubber said it came with bbq sauce, when I asked for the bbq sauce it came out once I had finished the meal. Told them no point now. The Pepsi was flat... won’t be going here again!!!

The warmest thing was the plate, I think the kitchen staff expected a hot plate to heat the food up.... it didn't

Normally eat here around 3 or 4 times a month but this will be out last visit.

Really gone downhill lately.
