***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***
Regarding the cancellation yesterday of Hopscotch Entertainment’s Summer Party, we as the new owners of Hopscotch would like to clarify a couple of things.
Andy and I bought Hopscotch Entertainment as an ongoing business in late June of this year. It was agreed when we we bought the business that the Summer Show would still go ahead as planned but that we as the new owners, would have no involvement in it and that it would be organised and ran by... one of the previous owners.
We knew nothing of the cancellation or that it was even a possibility until Monday 21st August - the same day the event was cancelled through Ticket source and all the people who had purchased tickets were to receive an email advising them of the cancellation and also when they should receive their refund. We did not know of the cancellation of the event until it had already been done.
Had we known the event was likely to be cancelled we would most certainly have requested that everyone was advised personally by email or phone and not by a third party.
Due to the cancellation of the event, we have been receiving many calls, messages and emails from some very upset parents (and quite rightly so) who are then directly having to deal with some very upset children. We are aware that some people have specifically took time off work to take their children to the event. All we can do is apologise profusely.
We would just like to reiterate that this, as the new owners of the business, was not our doing, nor do we agree with the short notice and impersonal way in which it has been handled.
Moving forward, we do not want any of our customers, old and new, to feel that this is common practice within Hopscotch. It is not, nor will it ever be.
For those that have been let down, please let us know by email if possible, if you have any problems in receiving your refund or have any further questions.
We are truly sorry to all of you parents, and more importantly, your children who were looking forward to the event.

Absolutely fantastic Spider-Man party for my sons 6th birthday. All the kids - young and old (adults included) had an amazing time today. Hats off to Spider-Man himself doing his stuff in this heat in his outfit. I would definitely recommend you to anyone after a party entertainer.

Wow, it was my sons 5th birthday today. We went for a super hero theme and the team were amazing, Hannah the host was fabulous and going the extra mile helping out. Spider-Man and Iron man were fantastic. Other parents have all said entertainment was amazing. Thank you xx

Wow! Just wanted to thank Mischief and Sparkle for making our 5 children so happy yesterday! They were so enthusiastic and engaged with the children and really made their day! The kids loved them and adults too! Wouldnt not hesitate to recommend!

Would definitely recommend! My sons birthday was fab, the kids loved it and had so much fun doing all the games and even better getting their photo taken with spiderman! My son couldnt wait to tell everyone we seen (including random people we stood next to for more than a minute!) that he had the REAL spiderman at his party and received a gift from him too!

The host was amazing too keeping all the kids entertained.

We booked a party for my son who has disabilities, we had Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Spider-Man as well as a host. I couldn't of been happier with this fantastic service! The characters go above and beyond their call of duty with the kids they took all of my sons needs into consideration and wrapped the whole event around him and even played party games he could do. they never break character which keeps the magic alive. They play and sing and dance and are thoroughly entertaining for children and adults alike! They made my sons birthday the best one he's ever had up to now and he's all ready talking about who he wants to book next year. My self and my wife have to help our son do basic things and during the party we did next to nothing, we're not used to feeling redundant lol

Thank you so much for making all the effort you did. We really really are very grateful x

Today was my little girls 4th birthday party, she loves Cinderella and my what a party hopscotch provided. The princesses were immaculately dressed, the costumes were stunning. They not only treat my little girl like a princess but interacted with all the other children that were there. Hannah (our party host) was a dream she kept everything running smoothly, in such a fun way. Ava and her friends absolutely loved her time with hopscotch and so did the adults.



I couldn't of wished for a better party for my little girl. I wanted to say a massive thank you to the whole hopscotch team for their hard work and making my little girls dreams come true today.

Thank you for coming to Eloise's birthday, the princesses and host (Eilish) were fantastic with the children. Just got home from the Enchanted Storybook show and have one very happy little girl! She's still smiling from ear to ear & in her words 'that was the best show ever!!' I just wanted to say a massive thanks to Hannah r host and characters Belle and iron man for providing the most magical party. All the kids were entertained and they Made my daughter feel like a Little princess. Even going the extra mile with helping me with the kids juice and party food and Belle handing out the party sweets cones.. Fantastic would recommend to anyone thank you again xxxx�

I took my little boy, who’s 21m, to an afternoon tea with Mary Poppins. He watches Mary poppins every night before bed and she did not disappoint today! Obv my little boy is too young to understand he can’t be centre of attention (�) but nothing was too much trouble and picking him up and carrying him around with her has made him so happy. He’s said her name for the past 2 hours. Thank you for being so great with him, he’s had the best day xxx

Stephen was fantastic when taking the booking and I was kept up to date throughout as there was a risk of the “Beast from the East” scuppering our plans. Thankfully the snow didn’t spoil anything in the end!

Michaela (our host) and Spiderman were both superb. They were enthusiastic and engaged with all the kids. It was such a brilliant party, I can’t thank you enough!

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending your services. First class!
