I love to make jewellery that feels like it already has a history - as if it had manifest hundreds of years ago and has already seen many lifetimes.
Fine jewellery is beautiful and there are so many talented fine jewellery artists out there all creating stunning pieces, but my love is working traditionally; there are no machines that cut the metal, and none that shape it - just me and my saw and hammer (and often brute force and a file or two! ) My style is primitive I like to think - in an Iceni way - If Boudicca were alive now, I reckon she'd wear some of my stuff!
