Insight Hypnosis - Anne Wall, Hypnotherapy & Anxiety Specialist Description

Hello I’m Anne, and I’m passionate about helping people struggiling with anxiety and other anxiety related issues. It feels so rewarding to be able to help people and turn their lives around in just a few sessions.

I’m a mum of 4 and a proud Nani to 2 amazing grandchildren. I have a lurcher called Dylan and Tilly the tortoiseshell cat. I live in Sheffield but also have a real passion for North Devon so I do my best to divide my time between the two.

When my children where little I started running exercise to music classes, I loved it and stayed in the fitness industry for over 12 years. I loved to see people enjoying themselves and getting fitter and healthier and as time went on I became more and more fascinated in the psychology of how the mind affects the body.

So ten years ago I decided to retrain as a hypnotherapist and embarked on a brand new career. I love what I do and I’m truly passionate about taking my experience and continued training to help people struggling with anxiety, stress and other anxiety related issues. I know how it feels to live with anxiety, I know how it feels to feel so low that it’s a real struggle to get through the day. I know that without help it only gets worse and that it’s so important to get to the root of whatever the problem is to get rid of it once and for all.

I will help you learn how to overcome your anxieties in a very heartfelt way. I will show you really simple and effective techniques so you can start to make a difference straight away and be well on your way to living that full and happy life that you so want.

I offer sessions in my therapy room in Sheffield and North Devon and via Skype throughout the UK and beyond.

Here are the main qualifications I have:

DipCAH Diploma in Clinical and Advanced Hypnosis , UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences.

HPD Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma, accredited by the National Council for Hypnotherapy & NCFE Awarding Body

PNLP Certified Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences

TFT Callahan Approved Thought Field Therapy Practitioner (Algorithm Level)

KGHypnobirthing Diploma

ARE YOU STRUGGLING WITH LOW SELF-ESTEEM? HERE'S TIP#9 – Learning how to relax properly if you’re feeling low can really help. When we are able to really relax it means our brain is less emotional. Exercise might be your way of relaxing or you might want to get involved in something that occupies your mind. Being able to relax whenever you want to by practicing self hypnosis, meditation or something more physical such as Tai Chi can really help too.

STRUGGLING WITH LOW SELF-ESTEEM? HERE'S TIP#8 - A great antidote to low self-esteem is to do something that makes you feel good, something that absorbs you so that you can forget about everything else for a while. Doing something you really enjoy even if you haven’t done it for a while such as baking, painting, dancing, swimming, gardening, running, climbing, writing etc. Doing something you enjoy. at least once a week will make you feel competent and more capable leading to you feeling happier and healthier.

STRUGGLING WITH LOW SELF ESTEEM? HERE'S TIP#7 When you last learnt something new you probably doubted that you could do it, you didn't feel confident and you probably felt stressed about it. It might help to know that these are all perfectly normal feelings and part of the process. So when you next doubt yourself just remember that it’s completely normal to feel this way! 😊😊😊

STRUGGLING WITH LOW SELF-ESTEEM? HERE'S TIP #6 When we put off doing things they tend to pile up around us and clutter our mind. So if there are things you’ve been putting off like getting in touch with a friend or family member, tidying the garden, cooking a nice meal, cleaning the house etc then get on and do it and notice how much better you feel afterwards!

User

ARE YOU STRUGGLING WITH LOW SELF-ESTEEM HERE'S TIP#5 - Stop focusing on YOU! When we have low self esteem we tend to focus too much on ourselves. So by doing something that focuses your attention away from you like something you enjoy doing can quickly help you to feel much better.

ARE YOU STRUGGLING WITH LOW SELF-ESTEEM HERE'S TIP#4 Are you finding that when one small thing goes wrong you tend to over generalise and feel like everything is against you? You feel a failure in so many ways and tell yourself allsorts of negative things. This is called globalising and if you catch yourself doing this you need to challenge your thoughts with a healthy dose of reality. So next time you hear yourself saying something like nothing ever works out for me, why does everything go wrong for me? At least be aware that what you’re doing is globalising.

ARE YOU STRUGGLING WITH LOW SELF-ESTEEM HERE'S TIP#3 Are you taking responsibility for other people’s bad moods? These may be parents, partners etc who are emotionally unpredictable or who try to gain power over us by making us feel bad which is in fact emotional blackmail! Watch out for it happening and by becoming conscious of taking more than your fair share of blame for things can help you to feel better.

User

ARE YOU STRUGGLING WITH SELF-ESTEEM? HERE'S TIP#2 Low self-esteem almost always stems from how we are conditioned or have been conditioned by other people who insulted, criticised or bullied us in some way. This means that you’re more likely to have taken in negative messages about yourself from other people. Think about who these people were and when you feel bad about yourself take a moment to ask yourself . ‘Who’s voice is in my head’? I bet it belonged to someone else originally. Realising this means that you can start listening to the ‘real’ you, the you that you should be listening to in a much kinder way.

ARE YOU STRUGGLING WITH LOW SELF-ESTEEM? This week we're looking at low self-esteem and I'll be posting some tips on how you can help yourself. Low self esteem often comes hand in hand with anxiety and worry as it is more to do with feelings than thoughts and weirdly it can actually feel comforting to say negative things about yourself. HERE'S TIP#1 If you’re blaming yourself unnecessarily, worrying about what other people think about you, feeling negative about the future, comparing yourself to others etc. then it’s likely you feel convinced about your worthlessness. So the next time you say negative things to yourself just follow it up with the thought ‘don’t be so sure’. 💞💞

5 DAILY STEPS TO FEELING HAPPIER... 😀😀😀 Here's STEP#5.... Hypnotherapy is a fantastic way of encouraging positive thoughts. The more positive you think the less anxious you feel and the more inclined you will be to notice the good things in life. If positive thinking is something you struggle with then consider hypnotherapy to help you engage your happy brain! The more you think positively the more positive you will become. The more positive you become the more you will notic...e the positives. The more you do this the easier it will happen. You will become positive and happier and you will find yourself less prone to anxiety as using the negative part of your brain will no longer be your default setting. If you'd like to get rid of anxiety forever, stop worrying and feel happier and more positive then message me or call me on 07714824121 and we can get you living the life you want. Anne x

5 DAILY STEPS TO FEELING HAPPIER... 😀😀😀 Here's STEP#4 Feeling happier can extend to other people so instead of asking them 'how are you?' ask them 'what's been good about your day/week' by doing this you're helping them move into their happy part of the brain. It also makes for a much nicer conversation! This is particularly helpful if you have children as it will encourage them to form positive habits with their thought patterns from a really young age.

When I saw Anne’s offer on Facebook of a free consultation, I was curious. Filling in the form made me start to really think about issues that were affecting my everyday life. I went from having claustrophobia problems to issues with safety whilst driving. I booked 3 sessions and by the end of the second one I was amazed at how much better I felt. The process of working with Anne was very enjoyable and she guided me gently through other issues which suddenly became more important.....so much so that I booked a further 3 sessions. I particularly enjoyed the gentle relaxation sessions and would not hesitate to recommend Anne to anyone. By the end of my last session I felt I had actually turned a corner. The whole process has been totally enlightening and I thank Anne so much for her kind and patient manner.
