When are you open? - During term time Wednesday to Sunday and in school holidays 7 days a week, 10:30-5pm

What age is it suitable for? - As the paints are non toxic and do not leave marks or stains it is suitable from birth.
How is it different to porcelain painting (cook in home oven)? - There is a huge difference in quality when items are professionally glazed and fired at 1000 degrees rather than painting on preglazed ceramics and cooking at home. Ours will last forever and the pottery is much heavier and will be dishwasher safe and can even go in fishtanks!
When will my painted items be ready? - Generally we put a kiln on over our two closed days (Monday & Tuesday) in term time so things are ready on a Wednesday, during holidays it varies but usually in 5-7 days.

🎨 POTTERY PAINTING FAQs 🎨
... How much is it? - We have over 250 items in stock at any given time all individually priced so this is a tricky one to answer! We have lots of things to paint from just £5, which includes the cost of glazing and firing after your visit. We do not charge a studio fee 🙂
When are you open? - During term time Wednesday to Sunday and in school holidays 7 days a week, 10:30-5pm
Do I need to book? - Yes please! Send us a Facebook message (preferred) or ring 01226 387579
What age is it suitable for? - As the paints are non toxic and do not leave marks or stains it is suitable from birth. Hand/footprints on pottery are a lovely keepsake and we run weekday under 5s sessions where you only need to be able to sit in a high chair to join in!
Do you do parties? - We do! Seating up to 12 painters with 4 attending adults would be our capacity and you only pay for what you paint, no room hire charge. Bring along some party lunchboxes and a cake and we’ll put the disco lights on to finish at no extra cost. We also do adult only evening sessions on request where you can bring a bottle and order takeaway, minimum of four painters required.

🌟 3D CASTING FAQs 🌟
Do you have a price list? - Yes we do it is here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/…
What age can you cast from? - We cast our daughter at about 15 minutes old still in the delivery room so it is definitely safe from birth. The younger the better so you can get those tiny hands and feet, but any age is absolutely fine.
My child won’t stay still can we still do it? - A common myth is that you need to remain still for castings. You definitely don’t or we wouldn’t be able to do newborns and dog paws! Children can wriggle in the mixture and it will gently set around the hand or foot.
How long does it take? - Allow about 20mins for a baby casting and 45 for a family casting. The process itself takes 1-2 minutes per hand and is completely non toxic and painless.
Do I pay on the day? - Yes please, no deposit required

What a lovely couple and fantastic experience for all the family!

I first went with a few friends on a mum's night out and had such a lovely time I took my 2 year old daughter on another occasion. They were so welcoming, and put me at ease when I was worried about my daughter breaking the pottery. Neil and Kayla cant do enough for you, you feel like part of the family when you visit. It's all really affordable with prices starting at £5! I'm already planning my next trip. Thanks for my lovely experiences!!!

What a fabulous place, visited for the first time yesterday with my 7 month old and she loved it as did I and will definatly be returning, the staff were welcoming and friendly couldn't have asked for better

Went today with my son to make something for his teacher. My son has special needs and staff here were so amazing with him. Made him feel at ease, explained everything to him. It was truly lovely to see him sit down and decorate a pot from start to finish. Thank you so much les cadeaux

Went for my sisters birthday celebration and had such a lovely evening. We were made very welcome brought some fizz and ate Chinese whilst we painted. Highly recommended and can't wait to paint something else. Thankyou

This shop is brilliant! I'd been desperate to get casts done of my baby's hands and feet when she was younger and looked at some of the companies online and Mothercare. Unfortunately, the prices were prohibitively expensive, so I put the idea on the back-burner.



My friend then gave me a gift voucher for Les Cadeaux last summer and I was amazed by the affordable pricing on all of their casts and products. We live an hour away from Darton, but it was well worth the trip .



I managed to get my toddler's hands and feet done when she was 18 months old and the final product was stunning!



We've been able to get our second daughter's casts done when she was much younger and Kayla has been sending me photos of the whole process.



If you're looking for beautiful framed casts, Les Cadeaux is the place to go. Kayla, Neil and the rest of the staff are friendly, welcoming and brilliant with children. I can't recommend them highly enough.

This place is absolutely brill had my daughters 8th birthday party here and the staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us all, also the prices are such good value for money and the fact you can take your own food is great and your made to feel very welcome I have 6 very happy little girls today who loved the Experience and a very unstressed mummy thanks again we will be back xx

The moment you step in the door you are made to feel welcome! This husband and wife team are fab. I tuck harry so we could make some things for Father’s Day we had a wonderful time painting mugs and getting key rings made and we did a 3D moulding they went out of there way for me to make sure it was finished in time for Father’s thank so much! This place is so much fun for all the family! To top it off they are breastfeeding friendly winner for me!!! Please go and enjoy you will !!!

Our first visit to Les Cadeaux, it was wonderful. Friendly people, nothing too much trouble for them. My granddaughter loved every minute. She thought Neil was so funny. Spoilt for choice for things to do. My granddaughter painted a masterpiece (well it certainly took her long enough).

I brought my 13 and 8 year old daughter's for the first time on Thursday. We've been to similar places in the past but it's been a while. The shop was lovely and warm and cosy. Lots of pottery to choose from. It was lovely watching both girls enjoy what they were painting. It's difficult to find things they both can do together with their age difference but this was perfect. Me and my friend had a lovely coffee and catch up too.

Highly recommend les cadeux, Kayla and Neil were so welcoming and make you feel ao confortable and take their time to make sure they get your order exactly how you want it. Me and my partner had our baby girls feet printed onto a plate and the writing the first time wasn't how we wanted it but les cadeux happily corrected this for us however after this correction the date on it was wrong as we accidentally gave them the wrong date however they were brilliant and did it all again for us on another plate even after it had been put in the kilner. we couldn't thank kayla and Neil enough, thank you again :)

Had a lovely night out painting pots and enjoying gin/wine/snacks(that we took along). Thanks for opening up on an evening for us, we had a blast. Can highly recommend booking an evening.

After a friend on facebook had some castings done I decided to try for myself on my daughters first birthday! Amazing! Paloma wasn’t keen on her feet been casted but they did everything ti make her feel better and to put me at ease. Couldn’t recommend them enough lovely family run company �
