Large 19th century roundhouse building in an industrial setting with working turntable, steam and diesel locomotives, carriages from several eras, platform, 3 /4 mile of track, sidings, signal box and heritage railway paraphernalia.
Many buildings and outside areas can be used for non-rail shots.
Hire cost will vary according to number of days and area /equipment required

Went for some shunter bashing. It was great fun. Really enjoyed it and what you paid is for a good cause. Even got to see 86001 Evolution!
Visited on Saturday 31st March on cold and wet day, but the welcome could not have been warmer..!! Very friendly staff and workers and an amazing cafe. Great to see kids running around with their newly purchased spotter books collecting numbers, now that took me back 40+ years. To top it off, a short ride on a shunter up and down the yard. Already planning the next visit, thankyou.
Rail ale rocks, had a great time on the all dayer Friday

Excellent morning at the Roundhouse, the guys there were so friendly and gave the children a demonstration of how to move the engine around in the turning circle, they then offered the children a short ride on the train.thank you, excellent morning.
Nice place to take little ones. Access all areas for all abilities.
