We have just spent two lovely nights at Losehill House. It was my wife's 50th birthday and she asked for a couple of nights away at Spa hotel.We had never been to the Peak district so I googled Spa Hotels in the Peak district and came across Losehill house. The professionalism on the phone when making the booking gave me a good feel about the place before we arrived. On arrival we were escorted to our room by the lady on reception, something rarely done these days.The room was everything that it said it would be both online and as explained on the phone, meeting all our expectations. I had booked dinner bed and breakfast and I am so glad that I did. The food was absolutely outstanding.When going down for dinner we had pre-dinner drinks in the lounge where we were offered the menus and then escorted to the table when our food was ready. The staff were at all times smiling and very friendly and helpful. This is certainly the best hotel that I have stayed at in a long time and I do a lot of traveling across Europe. A fantastic Hotel in a beautiful part of the country. We look forwards to going back again. Thank you to all the staff at Losehill house for making our stay so enjoyable.

We have just come back from a one night stay at losehill hotel and we had such a lovely time. The hotel is set in such a beautiful area, the views were lovely.
When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly lady in reception called Mandy who was really welcoming and gave us all the information we required for our stay. The room was lovely, spacious, bright and spotlessly clean. A travel cot for our 9 month old baby had also been put up ready which was a big help. We used the pool which was nice and quiet, and again really clean, my only comment would be there wasnāt really an area to get baby changed,but we managed and he also had a great time in the pool! Dinner and breakfast was great, food was delicious, service was very professional and all the restaurant staff we smiley and friendly which was really nice. Had a great nights sleep, even baby did !! I would highly recommend this hotel, we will definitly be returning. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We had our wedding at Losehill and I can honestly say everything ran like absolute clockwork. Not one hitch on the day. Jules was really accommodating throughout the whole process, and Iām a very high maintenance Bride haha. Everything was exactly like I planned and envisaged for my wedding day. The main reasons we chose Losehill for our wedding were the surroundings which are beautiful, the fact you can have exclusive use (no sharing your limelight with another Bride!) and the food. We wanted more than your typical wedding meal and thatās exactly what we got. Food served by table so no guest left eating whilst another at the same table waits, served hot, and presented beautifully. It certainly impressed!
Also need to mention Amanda and the owner Paul who oversaw everything on the day and paid real attention to detail. Empty bottle of wine on the table, instantly replaced, water topped up. Plates cleared quickly. The service was brilliant. Even when we came down for breakfast the next day, they kept a list of guests who had yet to surface (nursing hangovers!) and were more than happy to accommodate requests for extra toast / juice / tea & coffee. If you have high standards and want a venue to match then Losehill is the place for you.
We had a fantastic overnight stay , greeted by friendly staff who couldnāt do enough for us, relaxation mode for us kicked in when we walked thought the door.A beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings, excellent approach from staff , the meals were lovely and the spa and treatments were excellent! Will definitely be visiting again ļæ½thank you
We got a deal to go and Iām so glad we did! What a wonderful place. The rooms we well maintained and cosy. The food was just excellent and the spa was just what we needed relaxing and soothing. Served by lauren who was just brilliant! The icing on the cake was the hot tub! Brilliant view and so peaceful. Would recommend
My husband and I had afternoon tea which was a present from a family member.
It was our first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The setting is beautiful and we sat in the restaurant enjoying looking at the sheep racing around the fields.
The food was well presented and very tasty and the large teapot was refilled as we love our tea.
The staff were excellent - friendly, professional and helpful.
It's a beautiful building and spotlessly clean and comfortable.
We have promised ourselves a return visit to sample the Sunday lunch as we live only 15 miles away.

Just spent the weekend at this lovely tranquil hotel nestling in Derbyshire - it must be one of its best kept secrets! Immaculately clean, outstanding food and service, cosy spa and first class spa treatments. There was a piano player in the bar area on Saturday which created a very relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Just returned from a one night stay here and can say it was a wonderful experience. Upon arrival we were greeted by wonderful receptionist who booked us in smoothly and showed us to our room. We took a Kind Double. Beautifully furnished or a high standard and a lovely comfortable bed. The bathroom was beautiful and both extremely clean. Had a back massage and facial which were both amazing and relaxing. Our evening meal started in the lounge with drinks and canapƩs and then a wonderful well cooked and presented 3 course meal. Fabulous food!!! Next morning our next treatments were cancelled due to snow fall and the staff not getting in. But the receptionist called our room to let us know and upon departure we were given some vouchers to apologise. Breakfast again was cooked beautifully and the selection of cold and hot food was great!! So really all I can say is thank you to all the staff who looked after us and made our stay really comfortable. I would highly recommend short stay here it was great and we will definitely return. Xx

Brilliant one night break treat. Delicious prosecco on arrival, fabulous room with a view, inspiring taster menu and super breakfast. The whole place is spotless and with lots of attention to detail along with excellent service and a peaceful location this a super place for a little escape.
The staff were lovely, the food was great we had the taster menu, we will definitely by back, the snow was falling as we sat in the hot tub admiring the view , couldnāt have asked for more.
