This Pilates exercise uses your own body resistance. Like anything in Pilates, control is important when raising and lowering the leg. Simple yet effective when done correctly.

Went to pilates for beginners last week, it was brilliant I've never done pilates before and marija was fantastic at setting the pace and making everyone feel welcome. Great job x

Really enjoyed the Barre Pilates class with Anne this evening

Really enjoyed a beginner Pilates class with Marija this week and Exercise to Music with Helen. Both instructors clearly demonstrated the different moves/positions and it was lovely to work in a small group. Very supportive and welcoming. Thank you - I've bought my membership pack and hope to progress to the more advanced sessions soon :)

Just done the beginners yoga class. It was brilliant! Very relaxing x

I have enjoyed every yoga and Pilates class I have attended so far at this small and friendly studio. The instructors are very experienced and you feel they are looking after you. I do the Scaravelli yoga and Clinical Pilates every week and between them they help me manage a chronic injury and have made dramatic improvements to a painful hip issue. I am also aware that my running has improved as a consequence of my more efficient movement. I had my first Yin yoga class last week and really felt the benefit of the long stretches, and Karen's yoga class is a lovely way to end the week. The studio is a pleasant space with lots of natural light which I like.
