Hi all as you will know a bad review has been made on Mr Browns . This was due to an unfinished kitchen on the 3rd floor and not the cafe downstairs. This is old and from the past . I have taken over this year and sure you will off noticed the difference. I have recently been giving the full building an overhaul and the kitchen upstairs has now been worked on to be completed. The council will revisit. If anybody has any questions then please don’t hesitate to contact myself or the council . A new manager has been put into place. Best wishes Chris.

Went yesterday as a party of six for the afternoon tea. I would definitely recommend, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was lovely and the service was brilliant. We all had a great time. Will definitely return.

Went for afternoon tea as a birthday treat! It was AMAZING!! So much food! And so tasty. We were defeated but brought the leftovers home to have at tea time! Just brilliant and didn't mind at all having to book 24 hours in advance. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again!

We had the best afternoon tea for a hen do. Really good value, loads of good quality food. They kindly let us take some (a lot) of it away with us when we were stuffed! The staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Would highly recommend!

Visited last Thursday 15th February. It was packed and my youngest started to scream when we were going upstairs. I was about to turn round and leave but was put at ease by one of the staff who got me a high chair and pointed out the colouring books and crayons. Children loved their food and the child friendly animal shaped wooden plated. Thank you �

Visited here on our w/end of our 1st Wedding Anniversay to track down a very special person. The staff were very helpful in helping us find this person and served us a lovely pot of tea of which has to be said was the best we had tasted during our visit to Scotland. We purchased some fruit scones with jam & butter and a couple of toffee/banana muffins for our journey home of which were absolutely delicious!! And the best part of our visit here was succeeding in finding that special person... made our w/end!! ���

This was recommended to me by my son. I loved it. A quirky, eclectic place with lots of seating combinations. Coffee is good. Rich and smooth. The staff are fabulous. Friendly, welcoming and they give off such a good vibe. They are helpful and genuinely seem to really care that you have a great experience.

They welcomed my miniature schnauzer Jeremy and asked if he would like a sausage. Then bought one out for him. He scoffed it up. I had a bacon and cheese omelette which was served with a fresh salad.



Great place to meet or sit on your own and pass some time. Loved it, felt right at home.

Staff were very warm and welcoming when 16 of us just turned up on a coach.the tea and scone was lovely.

Lovely treat for me and Mam. All freshly made and everything very tasty. Too much for us to get through, not that I’m complaining, as it all came home with us. Parking right outside and tables downstairs as well as upstairs for those not too mobile.

Lovely fresh homemade food and cakes would highly recommend and fantastic value.

I have visited Mr Brown's a few times now (for a Valentine's meal, Mother's Day afternoon tea, lunch with friends and just for a coffee) and I cannot recommend this place enough. Staff are very friendly, the decor is lovely and the food is delicious!

Had two of the afternoon tea trays today. Ordered 48 hours before through Facebook. Very friendly and accommodating people and food was excellent. All food was very fresh and tasty, we will definitely be ordering more soon. Thank you �

Had excellent carrot and butternut squash soup with bread and an excellent salmon and cream cheese half sandwich. Staff friendly and helpful. Good cup of tea although could have done with a pot of hot water to top the teapot up. Would recommend the ice cream as well.

Had an amazing afternoon tea at Mr Browns. Ruth and her staff made home made gorgeous food as always. I mentioned that I cannot eat chocolate so there was a large selection of chocolate free cakes and a miniature trifle that she didn’t put chocolate on especially for me. Sausage rolls and quiche were delicious and still warm from being made that afternoon. The cakes were all yummy and could tell they were home made. Would go back without a doubt and recommend Mr Browns afternoon tea to anyone.

Five star,s very well deserved , staff lovely . Food amazing served with style. Afternoon tea one of the best in the world . Sausage rolls have to be best ever I,ve tasted. Triple decker sandwiches with amazing fillings. Scones so light with homemade raspberry jam and fresh cream mmmm. Quiche so light and airery. If anyone knows of anywhere better in Britain for afternoon tea I want to know and I,ve been to hundred,s even the queen Mary cruise ship wasn't as good & people say that's best of the best well it,s not. Get MrBrown,s on the map go visit Ruth and the girl,s will look after you. I,ll be back .

Came in today with my 2yr old and had a lovely dinner and fast service. The staff are so friendly and really good with kids, we are not often in Brampton but next time we are we'll be back in

Called in for lunch earlier today. A young lady greeted us immediately and offered us a menu. The food was made to order and piping hot. It was delicious. The Staff were attentive throughout our visit. I felt I could have sat there all day. Definitely worth a visit ���

Booked Mr Browns for a Golden Wedding buffet. There was a fantastic selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls. chicken kebabs, quiches. Their cake selection was superb too with a choice of lemon drizzle, caramel shortbreads and cream scones plus much more. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Browns. The quality and service was amazing. Look forward to using them again soon.

Beautiful afternoon tea today with my mum and 2 daughters service was excellent even my 11 week old daughter was well looked after with bottle warming and lovely changeing room. The food was to a very high standard and the sausage rolls were favourite � service with a smile � highly recommended to all ages xx
