‘When I first started at a gym I felt a bit intimidated by others who I considered looked good.
I suffered with back pain quite often and it really made my life difficult. I wanted to get back to the old me and get back into my wedding dress but first get my ring off which I wasn’t able to do.
Starting with Next Level Fitness has improved my confidence and my health. I can do things I never thought possible in the beginning. Exercises I’d never heard of. I managed to get that wedding ring off and I’m just about to get in my dress!

Thinking about getting started or new to a gym?
Here are a few tips for beginners:
1 - Set clear goals.
... Looking at the big picture and breaking that down keeps progress flowing. Keeping goals realistic and time based creates something to work towards.
Also, if your goal is to feel better about yourself, ask yourself how will you know when you’ve hit your goal. It’s easy to be critical and keep moving the goal post.
2 - Track progress.
Take photos and measurements. When we see ourselves in the mirror every day it’s difficult to notice the difference. Seeing wrote down helps.
You can also track your progress on apps. Myfitnesspal is great for tracking calories and has progress tracking built in.
3 - Choose compound exercises.
Compound exercises use multiple muscles at the same time, for example squats, kettlebell swings shoulder press.
They build all over body strength, work multiple muscles and develop core strength which also helps with other exercises later on.
Choose these over machines as they also build great foundations for harder exercises later down the line.
4 - Choose a schedule and be consistent.
It takes time to achieve goals. Training 3x each week and sticking to it will work much better than training 5x per week and burning out at the end of week one.
3 days is ideal for most and having a rest day between sessions helps muscles to recover.
5 - Have fun.

This is the first review ive ever left on here or anywhere to be fair. Fantastic place been training with Sean sin back end of Jan and now the wife comes to my sessions with me. Great environment great PT changed how I view training. We look forward to each session leave most a sweaty mess.

I did a group bootcamp session with Abbie as my first Next Level experience.



I could tell from the moment I walked into the room that Abbie means Business. What I LOVED though was that as driven as she is, you can still have a laugh with her!



If I didn’t have someone as driven as Abbie, I wouldn’t work anywhere near as hard as I do. She somehow manages to be tough with a smile on her face, and that’s magic. I wanted to stop SO much but somehow I kept going. I’d love to say it was because of some inner self-resolve, but the truth is if I’d been by myself I’d have thrown in the towel 15 minutes into the 30 minute session.



Abbie’s exactly the sort of personal trainer I need, but after getting to know her a bit, she’s also the personal trainer I’d want.

So I had my first PT session today with Abbie, I was a little nervous I'll be honest as had only met Sean and Jordan before... but she's lovely, very friendly and approachable and got me to work harder than I thought I could or even wanted to. I'm not the fittest of folk but found with her encouragement that I got through the session in one piece and am certain she's going to give me the support I need to carry on to reach my goals. I would highly recommend NLF to anyone, if i can do it so can you!! X

Really supportive and changed my impressions on exactly what PT is and involves. Sessions are fun, interactive and most of all educational which helps me when training on my own.

I went to the Group X: LIIFT class last night and absolutely loved it! A great atmosphere. Jordan offered encouragement to lift a little bit more whilst making sure I did the lifts correctly and safely. And when I was struggling he gave me tips to make it easier instead of giving up. This is just what I need as I'm the worst for throwing in the towel if it all seems too hard. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Next Level Fitness.

I loved working with Jordan. He's really supportive in a session and also offers plenty of advice out of session times. I am currently working with a training plan created by Jordan and it's great. You don't get bored and there is plenty of room to increase intensity to help you progress. They have as great a knowledge of nutrition as they do physical training. Jordan and Sean make a great team and I look forward to working with them again in the future. I would highly recommend training with them.

I don’t give reviews but have to say I started in April with Jordan and I am loving it. I feel like death some days but I feel like I have achieved something in the last two months I could have been more strict with myself and ate better but I had a 3 week holiday in the USA and I have still managed to lose just over a stone.



I have lost inches too �



I am doing this to get fit and enjoy my life and I can’t wait to see what happens next

I came to sean a year ago having tried on my wedding dress that didnt fit and bulged in places it shouldn't. I told him that i had a year to get into my wedding dress. Having never had a personal trainer before i was very nervous about some fit guy seeing me jiggle all my wobbly bits. Sean was very friendly, talkative and forthcoming which put me at ease stright away. He wasn't your cliché of a personal trainer and quickly became a friend. I trained with sean once a week for a year. Im not a gym goer, i dont exercise and hate any sort of running/lifting/stretching but sean pushed me. I moaned every step of the way and fought him on most things but i did it, i lost 2 stone and still had a pizza every weekend! On the day of the wedding i was shocked at the scales. The dress fitted perfectly and i felt amazing. I cant thank sean enough as i had my dream wedding without any worries of bulges. I had so many compliments it was unreal. If you want to lose weight, tone up or just get fit then sean is your guy!!! If he can get me to lose weight then he can do anything. Top lad that will get you to your target and have a laugh along the way. ��� xx

Had my second session on Friday and absolutely loving it. The group is very supportive and Jordan and Sean are brilliant! This, for me, works better than the gym as you are pushed outside of your comfort zone. A 30 / 40 mins session does more for me than a 1 hour gym session. Highly recommend �

Been with Jordan since April he's a great PT and puts me through my paces. I can really see the results now. I was nervous at first as I was overweight, middle aged and pretty clueless where exercise was concerned but I needn't have worried. Jordan and Sean are friendly guys and very knowledgeable I feel like I've known them for years. Would definitely recommend them.

An incredibly friendly group of personal trainers. I’ve personally known Sean for over 11 years and I can tell you that when he gets an idea In to his head he sees it through with a 100% commitment. There is no surprise in seeing him develop a friendly and professional team of trainers to help everyone of his members achieve their own personal target. Genuinely cannot recommend them enough.

Jordan and Sean are great, really friendly and good guys to get on with. I train with Sean and have had a great experience. Really supportive and changed my impressions on exactly what PT is and involves. Sessions are fun, interactive and most of all educational which helps me when training on my own.

I've trained with Jordan for well over a year now, he's a great PT, very understanding and has helped me work on some old injuries and go from strength to strength. The sessions are challenging and he knows when to push me to get the best results. I would highly recommend both Sean and Jordan to anyone!

I've been training with Sean for a couple of years now and he is an excellent trainer. He's helped me work through my unhealthy habits from years of dieting and really helped me into a positive mindset about food and exercise. I went to the Group X: LIIFT class last night and absolutely loved it! A great atmosphere. Jordan offered encouragement to lift a little bit more whilst making sure I did the lifts correctly and safely. And when I was struggling he gave me tips to make it easier instead of giving up. This is just what I need as I'm the worst for throwing in the towel if it all seems too hard. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Next Level Fitness.

I loved working with Jordan. He's really supportive in a session and also offers plenty of advice out of session times. I am currently working with a training plan created by Jordan and it's great. You don't get bored and there is plenty of room to increase intensity to help you progress. They have as great a knowledge of nutrition as they do physical training. Jordan and Sean make a great team and I look forward to working with them again in the future. I would highly recommend training with them.

I don’t give reviews but have to say I started in April with Jordan and I am loving it. I feel like death some days but I feel like I have achieved something in the last two months I could have been more strict with myself and ate better but I had a 3 week holiday in the USA and I have still managed to lose just over a stone.

I came to sean a year ago having tried on my wedding dress that didnt fit and bulged in places it shouldn't. I told him that i had a year to get into my wedding dress. Having never had a personal trainer before i was very nervous about some fit guy seeing me jiggle all my wobbly bits. Sean was very friendly, talkative and forthcoming which put me at ease stright away. He wasn't your cliché of a personal trainer and quickly became a friend. I trained with sean once a week for a year. Im not a gym goer, i dont exercise and hate any sort of running/lifting/stretching but sean pushed me. I moaned every step of the way and fought him on most things but i did it, i lost 2 stone and still had a pizza every weekend! On the day of the wedding i was shocked at the scales. The dress fitted perfectly and i felt amazing. I cant thank sean enough as i had my dream wedding without any worries of bulges. I had so many compliments it was unreal. If you want to lose weight, tone up or just get fit then sean is your guy!!! If he can get me to lose weight then he can do anything. Top lad that will get you to your target and have a laugh along the way. ��� xx

Had my second session on Friday and absolutely loving it. The group is very supportive and Jordan and Sean are brilliant! This, for me, works better than the gym as you are pushed outside of your comfort zone. A 30 / 40 mins session does more for me than a 1 hour gym session. Highly recommend �

Been with Jordan since April he's a great PT and puts me through my paces. I can really see the results now. I was nervous at first as I was overweight, middle aged and pretty clueless where exercise was concerned but I needn't have worried. Jordan and Sean are friendly guys and very knowledgeable I feel like I've known them for years. Would definitely recommend them.

An incredibly friendly group of personal trainers. I’ve personally known Sean for over 11 years and I can tell you that when he gets an idea In to his head he sees it through with a 100% commitment. There is no surprise in seeing him develop a friendly and professional team of trainers to help everyone of his members achieve their own personal target. Genuinely cannot recommend them enough.
