First visit to this place in 30years and loved it. Proper pub and stunning beers from Acorn and other guest beers. Will certainly go back. It reminded me of some of the village pubs in Cornwall, with board games and everyone welcome attitude. So, if you like your beer and don't want trendy rubbish then get yourself to the Old No7!
First time I visited here today... it's a really lovely little pub... traditional, perfect for a nice, quiet drink on a Saturday afternoon... family friendly... clean... a really lovely old building... I'm not a real ale drinker myself, but I'm told that the ales here are excellent... a definite must-try if you're in the area!
Brilliant bar with friendly and approachable staff. Great selection of real ales, and some decent spirits too. Not harshly priced. Free jukebox where you can select anything you want online to play in the bar, could do with turning the volume up a little. Can use your e-cig inside which is a nice bonus. I just wish I lived closer :')
Brilliant and friendly pub and really friendly staff too...Always helpful...fun quizzes...fun people and fun times...We're regular visitors and we, along with like minded people / groups, often have meetings downstairs which is so useful too. It's a great place for us..!

A big thank you to all the staff at Old No. 7 - had my 30th birthday party in the basement bar. Was a great night, bar was fully stocked with some great beer, could put our own music on and they even got me a card and some bottles! When we returned the following morning to pick up some bits we had left they had stored everything for us. Would recommend to anyone and have always loved the place, best bar in tarn!
Lovely pub with good atmosphere. We were in a group of Huddersfield Town fans accompanied by 4 friends who are Barnsley fans. Good to be able to enjoy pre-march banter. The young girl serving alone downstairs deserves great credit for trying her best to keep the drinks flowing for customers. Her management could do with a bit of foresight to provide sufficient staff to cater for what was always going to be a busy time un view of the local derby football match. Hats off to the young girl, did a sterling job under trying circumstances and kept a smile throughout
Called in yesterday for a couple before a gig. Would have stayed longer but as two drinks totalled over ยฃ10 we couldn't afford too! I appreciate a pub in town will be more expensive than the village I live in, but we purchased EXACTLY the same drinks the night before in our local and to be quite honest they were almost half the price! Massive shame really as I wanted to sample a lot more of what was on offer. That being said, the staff were all very helpful and friendly. I would visit again, however I'd think twice because of the pricing
