Anyone travelling to us for parties today, there are road works on rawmarsh hill causing very slow moving traffic and delays.

What a lovely small space, well laid out with lots of different play options. And adults feel secure you can see the kids wherever they are. We went to a party there and the food was good and the staff interacted great with the kids and chose interesting games to break up the play time. No was ever bored, my daughter was raving about it to Grandma today

We really enjoy visiting playworld all year round and have also just had my little boys 3rd birthday here on Sunday 22 January 2017. The prices of everything are so reasonable and the fact that you have the entire play centre to yourself for the party makes it so much nicer and personal you're not cramped into one place with only a couple of tables to fit around and the children can play while you talk to all the parents at the party � without worrying about where the kids are as you can see them easily from Wherever you're sat. The set up of the play equipment is also ideal for children any age so it's easy to invite a mix of ages to the party which can sometimes be a problem for some families. Such a lovely family run business who are happy to help out with anything at all and nothing is too much trouble at all so friendly approachable and understanding there's no pressure or anything thankyou for making Arthur's party so lovely and stress free for the second year running xxx

We had our sons fantastic 4th birthday party at Playworld on Saturday 4th February. Just wanted to publicly thank Playworld for a truely brilliant time, my son loved every minute and all of his little guests had beaming smiles throughout.

We have had many parties here over the years and Playworld never dissapoint. We love the fact that we can privately hire the entire place and invite all our friends and family to join us. The staff have always been excellent and the party host last week couldn't have done enough for us. She helped make our little boy feel very special and although he was quite shy she actively encouraged him to fully get involved with party games and dancing.

The food was very good and a lot of fuss made of our our son when blowing out his birthday candles.

Thank you Playworld. It was perfect!

We had our little girl's 7th birthday party here last weekend and it was absolutely amazing! All the kids enjoyed themselves and had full tummies by the end of the day! the girls work their backsides off and are a team of absolute diamonds....literally nothing is too much trouble and they did whatever they could to make sure our princesses party was the best she could have ever dreamed for! They joined in with games, interacted with all the children, and made sure the few kiddies that had extra needs were all included and happy. My youngest daughter will be turning 2 in February and we will definitely be booking for that! I cannot praise playworld enough! If I could give you 6 stars I would! Thank you, you lovely people xxxxxxxxxx

Today we held Harry's party here and I just wanted to thank both members of staff who were working there today. They were incredibly patient and couldn't help Harry, or anyone else more with ensuring the party was a success! Absolutely will have another party here again. Excellent value for money, good selection of food for the children's meals, lovely entertainment and some fab party bags included. Thank you so much! Will recommend to anyone looking to have a party for young children.

The staff, Phil and Clare, are excellent hosts and Very welcoming. I sometimes arrange to meet large parties and they make it as easy as possible for us taking orders in advance and rearranging tables for us. The food is good value and there are lots of healthy options! The jacket potatoes are done in the oven which is a must. It's the perfect size to be able to sit back and enjoy a cupper whilst still keeping an eye on the kids! And we come here often as it's such good value for lunch and play! £5 and they get drink meal and either fruit or bun. We love Playworld.

Just had a joint 4 year old party with freya and Riley!! Was fantastic!! Staff were brilliant! Belle and Spider-Man were great with the kids! Chasing them around all the kids were tired out after!! Food spot on for kids!! Ordered adults meals too!! Nice food!! Love that it's privite so all kids belonged to party!! Will be coming again!! Thank you for a great day!!

Had our son's 6th birthday party here tonight. It was the first party he's had and he had the most amazing time! We even had a visit from Spiderman which went down brilliantly. Unfortunately, one child was quite scared by him but as soon as they realised, Spiderman went away for a while as Claire came and reassured the child and her mum. Only once they were happy that she was comfortable did Spiderman come back out to the party. They really do want to ensure everyone (kids and parents) have a great experience there.



One very happy, sweaty and tired child tonight. Great job Playworld ���

I had a few dietary requirements which weren’t an issue.

Had my son's 2nd birthday party here today. Guests ranged from 1-4 years old and it was perfect for that age range...enough to keep them busy but also safe for them to go off on their own. All thoroughly enjoyed it and lots of comments about coming back. There was plenty of food...they're always more bothered about playing anyway. We didn't bother with party games....just let them carry on playing instead. Thanks very much! X

Had a party at play world for Jake and sophie and it was brilliant couldn't have asked for a better party the characters was so good special spiderman he was brilliant running around with the kids chasing them and playing games it was well worth the money everything was just fantastic the kids didn't want to leave it was brilliant wouldn't go any where else we love it there they really made it special for the kids thank you agen xxxx

Can't thank the staff enough for Freddies birthday party, they did a brilliant job. He had an amazing time with his little friends. All the stress was taken out of it, all I had to do was bring the cake. The staff were brilliant with the children and managed to get them all involved in the games. Spiderman was the icing on the cake, he was brilliant. Some of the children were abit unsure about him but he came and spoke to all the kids and made them feel comfortable around him, he played with the kids for ages and definitely earnt his money! Would definitely recommend Playworld for parties for the younger ones as you have the whole place to yourself and don't have to worry about older ones coming and being rough round the little ones. Thank you!

Brilliant place for under 7s! It's the best one I've been too! Staff are fantastic and go out of their way for you and the food is great too. It's all secure and you can see every part of the play area. Also toilets and changing facilities are always spotless. Highly recommend!

Been today for the first time me n my 3 girls kadie faith n maddison and we all enjoyed it let em burn some energy off n ave some food , there was a conflict that happened between some parents but hasn't put me off at all we will be returning thank you xx

Came here on Saturday (17th) for a birthday party. The range of toys were good, our little boy was spoilt for choice.

However, there was only 1 party game which am told was done asa the party started despite a few children not having arrived (our little boy included), therefore a few children missed out on this.

The music wasn't ideal/suitable for a 3yr olds birthday party.

As for the buffet!! 1 potato star, 1 chicken nugget & a mini cocktail sausage for the 'hot' part. Cold part was a poor 'selection' of sarnies, handful of crisps to share between all kids, a few sliced grapes & some raisins. Then the 'desirable' cupcakes. Looks as though it was put together using cheap products.

Dilute juice was on back of counter so not freely available as was promised.

Party bag given to our Son had nothing suitable in it for his age range. The bags used were cheap paper sweetie bags, not party bags as would expected at a kids party.

When party was due to end the staff couldn't wait to get rid of everyone, it was as if we wasn't wanted there (unwelcoming).

Overall not good value for money at all. Without a doubt it wasn't worth the money that was paid. I'd say you've had the parents 'pants down'.

When you treat the paying public as an inconvenience or a burden and you are uncourteous (the children I was with had better manners and use please and thank you) do not be surprised when they do not return but tell their friends.
