Used to be a member of this course many years back. To say the course has improved beyond all recognition would be an understatement. Always was a challenging course with some great signature holes but now you have the maturity of the trees and other planting which make some holes harder, but also more scenic and picturesque. . When I played the greens were absolutely on the money. Fantastic views and excellent clubhouse. Keep up the good work

Played 18 holes of FootGolf here yesterday.

Great way of spending a couple of hours and course in fantastic condition. The Foot Golf course runs alongside the pitch and putt course, with both taking place at the same time.

The Foot Golf easily the best in the region, and looking at the excellent pitch and putt course, we will be back soon to play that as well.

It looks like as much care and attention is given to the pitch and putt as is given to the 18 hole full course

Great course with some challenging holes.

Greens are in good condition and some really test you. The par 3's are good as well, especially the 7th, downhill with water round the green!

Decent driving range and top staff!

Even though it was waterlogged when we visited the potential is great and will surely pop over again.



Friendly welcoming staff a credit to the club.

A group of us play every Sunday morning,we love this course, bacon butty and a tea before tee off and a well earned pint after. Staff always pleasant and the course is a gem considering the price paid.

Would have gave it a 5* but due 2 bad weather we have had it's a bit mushy in places but all in all a great course 2 play and the staff are very friendly.

We use the club driving range weekly. My daughter has lessons with the club pro Jason who is fantastic with the kids. We regularly play the par 3 course. A good little 9 hole course that is in pretty decent condition. The only draw back is it is shared with foot golf so you occasionally get the odd idiot on.

Pretty decent course and can't argue with the prices. Range is also good quality.

Suppose the only things letting it down (and there is probably nothing the club can do about this) is the fact some people playing the course don't replace divots or repair pitch marks making maintenance an issue.

Bit of investment and could be a really high quality course with better bunkers and drainage - for a pay-and-play this is good

Played rother valley a few times in all weather conditions. Whatever the weather the course has always been in great condition.

Drains well in the wet and greens are in superb condition all year round.

Me and my friend played quite a bit in the winter months due to not having any winter greens.

Has some lovely holes, especially the par 3's. Good views of surrounding area too whilst on the course.

Cheap driving range next to the first tee is great for warming up on.

Also the club house is fantastic with great food for after.

I can say that I enjoyed may day here with the D.G.A.(Disabled golf association) Perhaps had the country's weather been better prior to going, the course would have been in a more advanced state. The greens where very slow which does not help myself, but I would say the course was on catch up, due to the weather we have all had to put up with. However I liked the overall set up, the fairways where wide and cut lovely, so if you where going in the rough you really where punished. Bunker play was a little to be desired as they were hard,and lacking in sand, "the two which I went in", The welcome which was afforded to our players was second to none, and the food and drink, was excellent. This is the second year I have been here and looking forward to next year already. Considering the country's weather predicament The green staff deserve a pat on the back, well done guys.

Course was in fairly good condition couple of the greens were a bit poor but for £8 for a round it’s very good value for money and I’ve certainly paid a lot more for courses in worse conditions

Came here for the first time the other day and I was quite surprised with the course, it had some really good holes and some quite tough ones too all in all a very good days golf. Nice to see the greens in such good shape, highly recommended

Always a nice venue for a game. Course is challenging but enjoyable with a good variety of holes. Staff in the pro shop and bar are always friendly and the prices are fair too. Never been disappointed that I've been for a visit.

Nice course with few challenging holes. Unfortunately it is let down with the state of the bunkers, virtually no sand in any of them and what there is, hard and full of small pieces of stone and grit. They are virtually unplayable.

Got some good holes, the greens are very testing, can be badly affected in rainy conditions, but on a good day it's one of the better courses in the area, good facilities including an excellent driving range and a par 3 course

Challenging course some long holes with a couple of nice par 3’s the roughs need a trim tho as lost sooo many balls even when saw where they landed also first time playing here but no markings on the holes to show which hole is which and no details to show distance

Not a great course resembled more like a swamp and they know this but give you no warnings or discounted play. Driving range prices gone through roof for some reason ? May be it's the extra catch targets on there!! Or the fact they recouping money for the new expensive ball dispenser they have had installed.

What this place needs is a decent bar manager!

When you walk into a food place.....9 times out of ten you normally see a food hygiene certificate on show but not in this place..... not because they haven’t had chance to put it up but for the sheer fact that its a big fat ZERO! Not a 5 not a 4 but a zero! Says a lot about the place to me food hygiene certificate but that might be because im a chef but hey ho, it is what it is. Just making people aware!

I was spoken to disgustingly by the manager when asking about the 5 pound deposit that was never given back to me even though it states it on the website and also was told there was 18 holes which was also a lie. Will never go back again.
