It's just a dance class
4 walls, a floor and a roof. Pads and mirrors Instructors shouting and keeping us moving.... Music blasting old and new tunes.
It's just a dance class
Things get built here - Fitter bodies. Confident bodies.
Things get broken here - Barriers. Silence. Sweat. Shyness. Loneliness.
.....but It's just a dance class
Friendships are forged. Community is created. We rally together in the sad times. We celebrate the good times. We laugh together We cry together. We lift each other in good and bad times.

We conquer our demons. We relieve our stress. We quiet the voices in our heads. We feel at home here.

It's the date in our diary we never miss. It's the time for us to be carefree. It's the place where we can let go. It's part of our lives. It's our family.

ALL CLASSES SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE 💜💜💜🌟

Good morning This has not been an easy decision to make but one that I have found unavoidable under the circumstances. We have been as advised that although there is no legal requirement to close, it would be irresponsible of me to remain open at this moment in time. As my first thought is to protect our students parents and families we have decided to close our studio doors until this has all been dealt with. We will have classes as normal on Saturday 21st and Monday the ...23rd then we will close until the Wednesday 29th of April in which time the studio will be deep cleaned. Then we will review the situation again and if it’s safe to do so we will. Please keep in touch post pictures of the student in our family group - I will miss these incredible little humans more than you know 💜. This has been sent from head office and until we are advised otherwise classes will continue as normal 💜
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE. 17th March 2020.
Following the Government announcement yesterday we advise Teachers that as their Dance School is a private business it is at present their discretion as to whether they remain operational. As the situation changes Teachers are advised to keep abreast of further Government announcements and any local arrangements.
... Regarding examination sessions, as we are regulated by Ofqual and in line with our Coronavirus contingency plan, we will be continuing as much as possible, but as you are aware restrictions are changing daily and we will therefore give regular updates.
With regards to forthcoming BTDA events unfortunately the following will be postponed until further notice:
• London & Essex Open competition 21 March
• London & Essex Championship Heats 28/29 March
Regarding events due to take place from April onwards, these will go ahead as planned at this time. Teachers should continue to work to deadlines for the events and are assured any monies paid to BTDA will be reimbursed should the event not take place.
