In this very special charity performance in memory of Maureen Stroughair of “All Types Electric” her son Jeremy, a professional actor for over 30 years, In association with Little Pixie Productions and Pocket Panto are proud to present their own, their very own…Edwardian Cavalcade Music Hall
This show has everything a good old fashioned Music Hall show needs a fantastic Chairman (tall and in the dark), a spectacular song and dance man (of ever widening fame) and a stupendous ...songstress, a nightingale in the night (small but beautifully marked).
With favourite sing-alongs such as, “Old Bull and Bush” and “Daisy, Daisy”. Plus songs from WWI including “It’s A Long Way To Tipperary”, and a visit from the WWI Tommies of the British Army.
So pack up your troubles in your old kit bag and smile, smile, smile. Step back in time with a night at the theatre when King George V reigned and people would flock to the Music Halls.
With special guest artists for this very special fundraising show to raise funds for the Rotherham Hospital and Community Charity and the Purple Butterfly appeal.
The show is suitable for all ages.
Tickets - £10

Join us for an evening of stand-up comedy at Grin & Tonic Comedy Club.
Please Note - Change of Acts
Nick Page ... Nick Page has had quite a year: discovering he'd been taken off Wikipedia, getting kicked off Britain's got talent for innuendo, being declared 'too rude to meet the queen' by 70% of daily express readers and coming 2nd in a comedy award where the first prize was 10 grand and the runner up got nothing. That, along with a suicide attempt, winning English Comedian of the year, lawn mowing, saving the world and solving Scotland all form part of his new show.
He's an idiot, you should hate him but won't, there are no flip charts and there's no sad bit at 42 minutes, just loads of jokes and stories.
'the very best story teller on the circuit' Rhod Gilbert 'pure, ungimmicky stand up' Paul Sinha 'a host of barely believable stories about love, life and brushes with the law' The Guardian
Noel James Surreal hilarity from Britain’s Got Talent and The Stand Up Show. ‘Stands out like a droll giant in a comedy land of trite dwarfs’ - The Independent.
Jared Shooter Comedy Hat award winner. Infectious onstage effervescence, displaying a witty wide-eyed bewilderment at the adult world. ‘A natural in the spotlight, warm, friendly, likeable and smiley he engaged with the audience throughout. Jared Shooter is definitely a shooting star!’ – Derbyshire Times.
Steve Goodall No-nonsense Yorkshire wisdom. Winner of both Comedy Cellar Best New Yorkshire Act and Crooked Smile Award. ‘He stormed the gig with well observed tales of parenting and unfortunate lookalikes delivered with an easy charm’ – bbc.co.uk.
Compere – Anthony J Brown ‘Hilarious ad-libs and wicked one-liners from an infectiously funny performer’ – The List
Produced by Stagefright Comedy Price: Full £11 inc. fees, Concession £10 inc. fees. Age Restriction 16+

When we went along to see Rotherham Dance Centre's Lights, Camera Action on 17th June 2017 we found a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. As has already been mentioned by another visitor to the venue, there isn't much space between the rows of seats for people with longer legs.

It was a particularly warm evening outside the theatre and it was quite warm inside the building. Not sure if air conditioning has been installed inside the theatre. This would have made it more comfortable for both the audience, performers and others inside the venue.

Having said that I would recommend the theatre to prospective visitors.

Always a fabulous pantomime. This year is no exception. Just love this place.

User

Absolutely brilliant Pantomime. Had us all in stitches fantastic family entertainment for all ages. Silly Billy was absolutely hilarious well done

User

We have been a few times in last few years and it is brilliant. Not a lot of leg room or tall people but is comfortable enough. The only problem I have had is when I take my daughter (5years old) even with a booster, if someone tall sits in front she cant see. Last night at Hairspray we had to move her seats so the view was a little better but I had to sit leaning over to see between people's heads.

Other than this no other problems.

User

Me my wife n daughter went to watch Wind In The Willows last night, absolutely fantastic we never stopped laughing brilliant production please please please bring something like this back Billy Pearce n the whole cast was amazing really enjoyed it, the whole staff was very helpful wonderful place ☺️

User

Great asset to Rotherham. Staff are lovely. Why aren't the shows advertised more! !!!!!! I suppose Rotherham council spent all their cash on new offices and PC's.

The comedy show I saw last night doesn't seem to be advertised at all even on it's own FB page. The headline act was great but I'm afraid the rest and the compare were dull

User

First time visiting this theatre. Easy to park. Polite staff. Good view from seats. Watched production of Hairspray - a great show with some fabulous singers! Would definitely look at what shows are on in future and visit again!
