They've had their own TV special at the London Palladium, they have an iTunes-chart-topping podcast and now they're touring the country; it's the one and only Horne Section's one and only 2019 Tour.
Following their hit BBC Radio 4 series, and many years of sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and London’s West End, don’t miss everyone’s favourite Dictionary Corner regulars on '8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown' and the first band to ever host 'Never Mind The Buzzcock...s' (BBC Two).
Five outstanding musicians, one non-musical stand up, there'll be comedy, songs, enthusiastic dancing and a lot of mucking about. A unique show from the hugely talented band and Alex Horne, the creator and co-host of The Bafta and Emmy nominated 'Taskmaster', which won Best Entertainment Show at last year’s Broadcast Awards.
★★★★★‘We can’t recommend The Horne Section highly enough’- Time Out
★★★★★‘An absolute blast’- Met

The world’s premier Beatles show continues to draw critical acclaim from across the globe with their immaculate note-perfect portrayal of the fab four’s journey through the swinging '60s. It’s all there - the costumes, the mannerisms, the witty banter and the period gear.
With a little help from their Pepperland Sinfonia and featuring a special set to mark the 50th anniversary of 'Abbey Road', this multi-media concert surely has to be the year’s not-to-be-missed event for Bea...tlemaniacs of all ages.
"Exhilarating" – The Times. "Off the scale fabulous" – Chris Evans. "A joy to behold" – The Telegraph.

Went to see Roy Chubby Brown on Saturday night didn’t book ticket until Friday got really good seats

Staff was really helpful and Roy was absolutely brilliant

We went for food before as there is plenty to choose from around the hall really enjoyed the night

Definitely will looking forward to seeing something else here xx

User

Was there this weekend for my daughter's dance show and think it's a fab venue but could do with booster seat for children so they can see also there's no safe place to leave a pram so if you have to bring one you have to leave it outside in the corridors with people walking past so would be fab if there was a place to leave these also in the disabled toilets the baby change table has the strap trapped so my 3 week old baby had to lay on top of a tight strap that made changing him very hard. Other than that love it here

User

Train 16/19/17 what a great show only spoilt by Soviet union security staff crawling over the audience ruining the show to stop people filming when the lead singer takes selfies and films the fans double standards

User

Stunning venue and has kept so much of its original features. The size is perfect for watching bands or anything that is on no matter where your seated there is a good view of the stage. Nice bar with friendly staff, I have never had a bad night here so I can highly recommend

User

My partner and I went to the 85th anniversary tea dance at Sheffield City Hall last Saturday. As usual the dance was really enjoyable but I just wanted say a special thank you to the chef and catering staff. My partner and I are vegan and the food we were served was exceptional. It was tasty and beautifully presented. How refreshing to be treated so well instead of being treated as a nuisance as so often happens elsewhere. Thanks again.

User

It was my first visit last night to see Gary Barlow. Lovely venue seating was good (balcony row G) had excellent view. Friendly welcoming staff. Would recommend to anyone. And Gary himself was absolutely amazing, fantastic night all round

User

Great venue if you want to be able to see the act even if you are sat at the back. Good acoustics and comfortable seating.

User

Easy to get to.

Not queuing for ages to get in.

Plenty of leg room for a big guy sitting in the stalls.

Good view, acoustics are great.

I would recommend the place, but as for who you want to see.... that’s up to you!

User

2nd time of going to the venue (can be a little awkward to get to) once we got there found staff to be friendly seating was good the event (Jonathan pie 22nd Feb 2018) was superb

User

Very atmospheric venue! We sat in the balcony so had a slightly restricted view with the people in front of us, but we were pre-warned of that anyway and we still saw everything!

User

The welcoming was great by the staff really nice building internal and external Jimmy Carr was brilliant only thing what let's it down is how horrible and uncomfortable the seating is no space at all.

User

Sat right at the back of the upper circle, great view of the stage if a bit far away but the sound was still good. the legroom was a bit tight but standing up was possible without getting in anyones way.

User

Love the venue. Been going there for over 50 years. Very sad at last nights concert as the staff made a huge noise in the corridors during the Mozart concert. Very bad

User

The security guards need to take a chill pill and try not to impersonate meerkats when people vacate their seats or try and take pictures.

It's a great venue but very behind the times. Social media is a credit to the arts and I really hope that the venues old fashioned customs doesn't effect peoples desire to visit in the future. It Would be a real shame to see another iconic Sheffield landmark left abandoned

User

It's a nice venue but the seats are terrible. No matter where you sit you just cannot get a good view of the stage. The seats are positioned such that the people in front block most of your view. My situation was made worse by the 2 guys in front of me who kept moving their head left and right on a constant basis. The management need to sit in these seats and experience it for themselves. They need to raise The seats a little. This is the 21st century and people want a good experience for their money. Come on city hall, wake up.

User

Easy to get to, some really good artists play there, seating not great and the bars aren’t very nice, but no-one is forcing you to drink there.

User

Once again the infra-red hearing loop for hard of hearing people was not working for the classical concert at the City Hall on Saturday 5th May. As a result my husband was unable to hear any of the concert and fell asleep. This is not the first time this has happened and we are fed up with the City Hall for not maintaining their equipment properly.

User

Do not order from these people! They have taken money from my wife’s Bank account 4 times yet claim that they have taken no payments and are refusing to investigate what has happened, we have confirmed with my wife’s bank that this has definitely gone to Sheffield city hall!

The supervisor at Sheffield city hall ticket office refuses to give a name or how to contact their complaints team.

Shocking attitude of staff!

User

Completely disgusted by both my experience last Sunday night, plus total ignorance of Managment to acknowledge my complaint lodged at the time to Joe, who was on Duty. I am registered Disabled, and my carer/friend and my night out was totally ruined by a bunch of screaming, drunk women who materialised out of nowhere behind us (they were NOT seated there) and spent vast majority of Whitney Houston tribute Concert, shouting, dancing in front, behind and in the AISLES themselves without getting moved, often blocking our view. Flash photography going off as well next to us, a pack of 8-10 totally went off the rail with no Steward intervention whatsoever bar moving the worse one twice...but she only came back.

I was told Richard, the General Manager was on Duty on Monday, my number was taken by the lovely Joe, who listened by said he could not refund, etc. I waited 3 days until Wednesday and then rang again. Richard was in a Meeting, my name and number taken again but Lo & Behold STILL no phonecall, explanation or apology from Richard himself. I explained I have osteoathritis in my fingers so to type a full complaint email out would be very painful. Still waiting....

My first complaint ever to Sheffield City Hall, despite many visits. None of what I described should ever have happened, nor should my lodged complaint have been ignored either. Absymal Service, and an otherwise awesome Concert totally ruined, as was our entire night out. Thank You City Hall, dire. :-(
