So we got hold of the Applewood vegan cheese it was £2.30 for 200g Asda and it was definitely worth the hunt! Lovely semi-soft texture and smoked taste but not too overpowering or salty. Was good cold and melted and didn’t stick to teeth. Would buy this again as a change to the usual cheddar style cheese we buy, but koko is still my favourite (especially as its often in Heron and Homebargains 2 for £1) 🧀 Have you tried it? What did you think? 🧀

New find in Aldi vegan superfood burgers! £1.29

We found these in Heron locally! Usually £2.50 each!!

More bargains in Fulton foods, lots of plant milks, and some frozen stuff like sweet potato curry, cauldron vegan burgers but we picked up these! Has anyone tried them? Any serving suggestions apart from a roast dinner?

... Heron - Flora 500g for £1 or 2 for £1.50 various types but this was the only new vegan one usually £2 each. Dated 01.06.19
- Koko dairy free cheddar alternative 150g 60p each or 2 for £1 usually £2.50ish really close to dairy cheese nice in sandwhiches or cooking/pasta
Usually this would be £14 maybe? Make use of discount shops and pop in often as stock varies daily

We found a new ben & jerry’s dairy free flavour (called Coconutterly Caramel’d) was described as coconut flavoured non-dairy ice cream with caramel & cookie swirls and chocolatey chunks and is fairtraide too was £5.50 from Sainsbury’s.
