FULWOOD LODGE CARE HOME OPEN DAY! Fulwood Lodge provides nursing, residential and dementia care for up to 42 residents. On Saturday 26th May we will opening our doors to the public to allow people to come down and have a look around our home.

We’ve got Tanya Adele coming to entertain Leahyrst residents with nostalgic songs spanning ‘40s to ‘60s and more in a few days time!
Live entertainment is a brilliant way to engage with our residents.
Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve been busy organizing fun activities for our residents at Rosebank. Jane Glossop, the home’s new Activities Coordinator, has started getting the residents involved in a whole host of activities. She is also compiling a regular newsletter. In October, we enjoyed painting flower pots. We then went to the Heeley City Farm to plant up the pots. Everyone enjoyed it so much, we just had to go back to the farm in November!
The festive period is a truly enjoyable one for Leahyrst residents – relatives arrive in their droves for the annual Xmas party on Dec 3!
The event offers entertainment, buffet, raffle and more. It’s open to all relatives and friends and it’s free!
There’s no better way to keep our #Leahyrst residents more active and engaged than our weekly chair aerobics class! You only have to see the smiles on their faces at the event. It’s wonderful to see!
