My friend was bought the spa journey package for 2 for a birthday treat and invited me along, this was my first spa day, we had the kese treatment and Swedish back massage, after my initial shock of wearing paper pants and exposing areas I don't do, (this was something completely out of my comfort zone but) I was made to feel totally relaxed by the young lady who did my treatments, she was discreet, relaxing and completely calm and gentle, and I enjoyed every bit, we had a beautiful lunch and the staff was fantastic offering hot drinks. The whole experience was fantastic and something I will certainly be doing again. Today waking after 9hrs of fantastic sleep (which I never have) I feel so relaxed and refreshed. Thankyou all so much...... highly recommend.

Visited Saturday for the full day, 2 treatments of back massage and 1 hour facial. Had lunch included and I have to say it was fantastic and I'm already checking dates for my return. The staff are all so lovely and very attentive. What a great place.

Myself and my sister came yesterday for the spa journey package I've never felt so chilled and relaxed. We was a little lost when we got changed into our robes as we didn't know where the spa experience was and nobody was in site to ask for at least few minutes. A member of staff approached in a friendly manor and asked if we have been before so showed us around. The whole experience was amazing my skin was so smooth after. I was very surprised with the light lunch it was a huge portion I was stuffed I think a girl called Lydia did one of my treatments she's was so lovely and we had a good chat I didn't get the other girls name but massage was so nice. I will definitely come again maybe try a facial next time

My husband and I came here for a spa experience, scrub and bespoke massage - we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Steph did my massage and was very thorough with explaining the breakdown of products and was very helpful with what she was using and what it did, and the massage itself was absolutely fabulous. My husband also said his was very nice - the staff was also very helpful getting us drinks and showing us round the spa and the different rooms before using the experience �

We booked in to the spa experience for 3 hours but also wanted a treatment, but unfortunately were told that they were fully booked for treatment, but to call and ask again for cancellations in a few days. I did so but still it was booked up. Anyhow, on arrival we were greeted by a very friendly lady who checked us in and told us that they did indeed have treatments become available! One for each of us within half an hour of one another! We were thrilled 😁.

What we love most about 1877 is the intimacy of it. The private little nooks & crannies and alcoves and the soft lighting-not like other spas where you can feel on display as it were, where all the spa areas are arranged around a pool. You feel instantly relaxed at 1877. There is a good choice of iced water- depicting the benefits of each. Selection of hot drinks and apples-all complimentary-as much as you like.

My treatment(a bespoke massage) was done by a very friendly, smiley Georgia. She was very professional and put me completely at ease. My back and skin felt wonderful after- i slept like a baby that night.

The prices are extremely reasonable also- the 3 hour spa session is only £30!

We plan to make this a monthly treat. And have told all our friends and family about it. We are going to hire it privately too one sunday- i mean, what a fabulous idea?

The specially designed maternity massage room was perfect for the full body massage so didnt have to lay on bump or flat on our back. Can only be described as a giant bean bag. Was a perfect way to relax before babies come. Will be coming back after babies are born so can use the sauna and steam rooms next time.

Just spent had my second spa visit both to 1877. Didn't really think a spa would be "my thing" but my daughter arranged a girls morning of relaxation with friends so had to go and loved the experience. Relaxing atmosphere with attentive staff, didn't feel busy at all and lovely surroundings in the old Victorian Turkish baths. Comfy chillout area, hot drinks offered and cooling fruit infused water. Enjoyed the steam room and ice room, there's also a sauna and plunge pool. My second visit was a ladies only express 2hr evening with my daughter as a treat after work and we'll certainly be returning for another after work pampering with a treatment next time too.

I visited the spa for a 3 hour spa experience with my mum and my auntie. Loved the relaxation room where you can just chill out on the comfy chairs and the staff were fantastic offering us hot drinks regularly. Fantastic spa area with lots of different types of rooms to use. Found the spa and changing area really clean with lovely toiletries to use! We added on a scrub which was lovely and left skin feeling really smooth and a light lunch which was beautiful. Will be seeing you again in a couple of weeks!

Another lovely afternoon at Spa 1877 for my other half’s birthday. Always feels comfortable, always clean, never feels overcrowded, I love it here. Staff are always available if needed, iced drinks always topped up, good range of hot drinks & fresh fruit. Feel relaxed & pampered �

Amazing little haven tucked away in Sheffield! From the minute we walked through the door we were given 5 star treatment and relaxation ensued! Thank you for a super visit �

Absolutely loved the spa. The staff are so helpful and professional. I've been 3 times now and about to go for a 4th time. I highly recommend the Poultice Powered Muscle Release for anyone who feel tense or have tired and overworked muscles. I can honestly say that I have never felt more rejuvenated, relaxed and centred the day after. I will be going back for more!

I had a lovely day here on a “Time for Me “ package. The spa area is wonderful, my therapist for my massage and facial was wonderful, the lunch was great. But.... the relaxation area was spoilt by a group of four who treated it like a coffee shop and talked very loudly for their whole session. It was such a relief when they went for treatments. I think the staff could do more to remind people to be quiet in this area.

First time at this paticular Spa. Fantastic helpful staff, really enjoyed my visit. Only negative was i would have liked the choice of a private cubicle in the ladies changing area. Maybe there was one however i didn't see. Def will be visiting again

Spent the morning here yesterday, i've been several times before and always really enjoyed it and the place itself is very quiet and relaxing but i have been seriously put off by the naked woman in the plunge pool. Very unhygenic and not appropriate at all. I could not see any signs advising that swimwear must be worn. I will definitely think twice about coming again.
