The Brecks Beefeater

The food is lovely had lunch and breakfast yesterday it was presented well the cooked breakfast had a lot if choice and the continental choice was great. Will be coming back to the premiere in the future and the beefeater. Also the staff are really helpful and polite.

Staying at the premiere inn and have eaten here two nights on the run, and breakfast. Food is excellent, staff are extremely happy, friendly and helpful, nothing is to much trouble for both Jannet on Friday night and Jess tonight. The BBQ chicken and ribs is a definite favourite, and the salads were excellent. Will return.

Me and the family went for Christmas dinner and out of all the years of going to different places we've found the one we will be going back to, the staff food and service was brilliant it was definitely best Christmas by far round here what we have had before. See you in the new year

I would like to thank the team at the brecks so much for looking after my son yesterday whilst he did his work experience (esp laura)

My son has Autism and every year for the last 22 years they have allowed our kids from Willows School to go and experience working life for a week. I cannot tell you how much joy this as brought to us as parents to see him with a smile on his face , he has loved it!! Wish there were more large companies that did this its amazing !!

Had our xmas dinner and i must say i was very impressed. The food was lovely and all the staff made a fuss of us ! Especially Hazel who served us �xx We will be booking for next year �

Can't fault anything. The lady on front of house is so lovely and welcoming. Our waitress was very pleasant and efficient and the food superb. I had sutf n turf with lobster sauce and hubby had mixed grill. Beautiful meal, really enjoyed it.

We went a few weeks ago because we had a 40% off voucher, received another so we went again yesterday and we think that the food was better than the first time.Our server asked if we had a loyalty card and was surprised when I said no as I told her that we had been recently so she went and sorted us 1 out. I think the beer is a bit pricey.

We waited 30 mins for starter which all enjoyed. But the main took nearly 50 mins. I had a burger which was nice but the coleslaw had no mayo or anything. It was just dry grated veg!!! The mixed grills were also good. We had drinks but nobody made us aware they were bottomless. We should have read it i suppose. The staff were friendly and keen to help but run off their feet.

Not been for a long time, probably be a long time before we go again, ordered a glass of wine, it came as a large, without being asked, whoever made the mojito cocktails needs to learn how to make them, just putting a couple of un crushed mint leaves does not a mojito make. it was very poor. I went with 4 other people. One of them has to be careful what she eats. She clearly asked for a quiche, she was served a pizza instead.... how beefeaters think those two are the same dish is beyond me. When we told the waitress, she stood with hands on hips like we were being difficult because order had to be changed.



Unless service and attitude of staff improves, won’t be returning anytime soon.

I went with my Dad for Fathers day. The meal was nice, however, I found the portions to be too small and the menu a tad pricey. Would have been 4 stars if not for the portion size

Very pricey for pub food, which is all it is. Portions on the small side. Service was very good though. Been to a lot of “restaurants “ that are much better value for money.

The service was absolutely terrible, haven't been in a while but went last night and the service still hasn't changed. We had a table booked for 6.30 and we didn't order till 7, waited a shocking 40 minutes for our starter. And then 30 minutes for the main. I asked for the started with bacon and it came without. The only reason I booked this place was because I had a 40% off mains voucher, although for the wait for the food it wasn't worth it. The food isn't bad tasting but food is getting more expensive in there and so are the drinks. I wouldn't choose to go there for a meal again. I booked a separate table for me and my boyfriend, although my parents had a meal too at a separate table. They complained and ended up getting everything free. I should have complained as that service was definitely not worth the money we paid.

I have been for an evening meal quite a few times recently and found the food great,so I didn't hesitate to book a table for my other half's birthday this evening. The service was great, our server, Sarah, was lovely, very attentive until we needed the bill. The food however was substandard. My other half asked for a medium rare steak which wasn't the slightest bit pink, but since people's opinions on this vary we let it lie. My meal was awful, I ordered the steak and cheddar pie. The pastry, of which there was far too much was entirely soggy, not a crisp piece in sight, the mashed potato was like glue. I couldn't eat half of it, and to top it off the meat was full of gristle, I have strong teeth and couldn't bite through most of the meat. The chips with my daughters meal were solid, she didn't eat them. Very disappointed tonight. I have just heard that my other half's Grandad's meal wasn't nice either, but he didn't want to say anything to me as I was paying.

Absolutely over rated!! 7 of us visited -

1. Waited over 45 minutes for food and had kids with us.

2. Don’t order the Tuna - states it comes with new potatoes - 1 tiny slice is all - totally over priced, poor.

3. Ordered a burger - again extremely expensive - should have cone with bacon - no bacon!

4. Child’s meal incorrect - again poor.

5. Desserts - waited 20 minutes to be then told they didn’t have what we ordered!



Definitely will not return - all about profit, just glorified ready meals!!
