Very cozy and friendly place.. food was very good quality for the decent price.. even dogs are allowed in the bar area 🙂

Tried going fox house but was too busy so drove back down road and actually prefer it here now , great food, staff and beer garden , definitely will come back again �

Myself and my hubby had a lovely meal on the evening of sat 17th with excellent attentive waitress service. We are regular visitors snd can honestly say weve had some lovely meals.

Lovely atmosphere, sat outside for a drink and lunch. Would recommend. Great food.

I eat here quite often, the food is always full of flavour and cooked to perfection, all of the staff are really welcoming and very knowledgeable. A great atmosphere whether you visit for just drinks or a full family meal!

Fantastic Valentine's evening wonderful food, excellent staff would highly recommend.

Excellent! Booked a table online 20mins before we arrived and all was perfect! 5 of us ate New years Day and the food was fabulous and so was the service. Not very busy at 3.45pm when we arrived but def a 5 star service. Xxx

A massive thankyou to Kirsty ( staff ) who helped me plan a surprise bunch of roses at the end if our meal .We will definitely be back again .

Lovely food but service extremely slow. Not great when you paying what you are! Had to ask for it to be hurried up. �

when a menu says an item is served with chips i do not expect a surcharge for them. Either your lunch menu is wrong in which case it should be amended as soon as you are notified or your rude barman is making himself a bit of pocket change. Shame as i wouldve made this one of my go to venues but i wont be recommending it

The food was actually quite poor, I had fish & chips but batter was pale and not crisp, not much fish inside, mushy peas in a separate bowl dry and triple cooked chips just an excuse to re-cook yesterday's left overs, not impressed, however staff were absolutely lovely but kitchen needs some serious overhaul especially more attention to detail and quality could effect their turnover, my family are local to the area but I'm just passing trade and in fairness would I recommend this eating place to colleagues, no I wouldn't...

Sadly disappointed,frozen fish,triple cooked chips,not in this world and tinned mushy peas.Husbands steak and mushroom pie ,again lacking. Looked great but it was all puff pastry top and next to nothing underneath and the same oven chips. Vintage Inn get your act together.

It’s okay if you don’t eat meat. They can’t cook it properly. I did mention to the waitress that the beef was incinerated but there was no word from the management and we paid the full price for sub standard food. Great if you are vegetarian or vegan.

I think it’s safe to say the worst Christmas dinner we’ve ever had. After fighting to get in because the place was too over crowded, we then sat and waited 2 hours to get a pretty pathetic meal that looked like it had been left out to dry all day. All the veg was inedible, the meat was bone dry, there was a random sweet pie on the plate that was pretty disgusting and probably there to fill the pretty empty plate, roast potatoes were rubbish and cold, it was all pretty disappointing to be fair. We did complain as no one ate it and the 2 star score is merely down to how the staff dealt with the complaint, it would be much lower if they weren’t so good. It just seemed like a chance to try and cram as many people in as possible and not a chance to try and give people a great meal to remember, a total waste of money and we’ll not be returning!

Food well below standard steak was over cooked and a poor cut of rib eye steak

Bar staff and waiter were the best part our waiter was Billy and that's who earned you my two stars I will not be returning sorry

Our food was inedible, my steak was tough despite being cooked medium rare and the chips were dry. We were asked if we wanted to order something else, which we did, that was slightly better but certainly not worth the money. The main courses are really small and expensive.

Won't be returning and I certainly would not recommend eating here.
