we have being coming here since just after it opened with my wife and baby but on Sunday fathers day it was brilliant my wife booked a table for fathers day the Sunday roast burger was really nice the bar staff are always friendly and helpful the staff all need a pat on their backs

Well we cane back for a 2nd time to see if it had changed. Gone was the young giddy ladies and the old not nice food and the women leading you to a certain table. We was able to choose our own table. We picked our food and drink and I must say we loved it. We will definitely call again. Just a shame I didnt know they took nhs discounts spent a fortune.

We have had our first visit tonight & we will definitely be back! From booking to just leaving everyone has been very accommodating & welcoming! All 8 meals were spot on, even better as both my gluten free kids were able to eat with no concerns! Thanks Eight Food Way!

We come here often and we have always been pleased with our visits. It's a Nice,warm,clean place to eat. The food is nice and the staff can never do enough for us. They are a nice friendly bunch. One girl in particular is always really chatty and friendly with us. We love to come normaly mid week for our late tea and have some us time. Thanks for all your hard work guys. We will see you soon and I highly recommend this venue for somewhere to eat. ☺

Love going here at dinner time for a catch up with my daughters and grand kiddies love the man that runs the pub he is soooooo funny always has a smile and a joke with everybody that comes through the door the kids love the pizza and so do l all staff are friendly lovely pub

Went for birthday meal, rather a few of us so expected a few hiccups, but I ordered a double burger 1st one come with just 1 on it so it got sent back, 2nd one turned up with tomato on it after telling them I had allergies, so 3rd one turns up and once I’d eaten it I realized I did have my bacon on it which was one of reasons why I picked it in first place, bar staff really apologetic about it, but it’s not rocket science to read the check right really, think the kitchen staff need to pull their-self up because you put that place down with making mistakes like that, rest of meals was fab and bar staff and managers really friendly, think some communication needs to be sorted out from front of house to kitchen

I've now been twice for food. A few more times for drinks and it has a great atmosphere. Yep we had to wait for food as they were busy, but it was fresh and tasty when it arrived. Only thing I would say is that you need more bar and serving staff.

If you plan on visiting here make sure to place your food order as soon as you walk through the door. We waited nearly 1 hour for our food to arrive, and with two young hungry children it wasn't the best experience.

I went here for 1st time with family today Sunday 29th April orded drinks placed order for meals we were still waiting 40 mins later for our meals went to ask where food was to be told would be another 5-10 minutes 55 in total waiting for our food not a very good service but food was nice.

We Didn't really get a descent apology for having to wait so long for food.

Advising customers how long they will have to wait for food when ordering would be a very good idea.

Food was good as has been every time I’ve been in. Shame we waited 45 mins for starter to come out. Then to be snapped at by staff member telling me I hadn’t waited 45 min at all. Customer service NOT good enough.

Visited today and must say we won't be going back anytime soon. Not only was the food not worth the money especially the so called coleslaw, that looked like the left over veg from last week but the baby changing facilities were disgusting, bin full to overflowing so had to leave nappy on top, when I reported it to a staff member her reply was oh yeah I know but we're not allowed to empty it. Need I say more.

Came yesterday food was like warm and not at all nice one young girl serving waited over 10 mins at the bar to be served as she was delivering coffee to tables dispite 2 waitresses walking round doin nothing

We decided to take kids out and shouldnt have bothered.

What was supposed to be half a chicken was small, chips were cold and tasteless, my partners burger was tasteless and dint come as described on the menu, the kids pizzas had to be re_done as they were burnt therefore they ate after us. The pizas were supposed to be chicken but was more like mush and 1.99 for a single scoop ice cream cone, and over priced lagers. Absolute rubbish which is a shame because we are local to the place and was hoping for a lovely little local we could visit for a meal with the kids. Nope, never again

Waited over 1hr for food to arrive after asking members of staff 3 times and the 3rd time the guy didn’t even come back he just said he would ask and disappeared. Service was terrible, people shouting and swearing all over the place. Then manager proceeded to tell me food was served nearly 30 minutes earlier than it actually was and told them exactly what time it came at but they wasn’t having any of it. Didn’t take my complaint seriously so will be taking it further. Also was given incorrect email address to take complaint further by manager had to then call up several times to get the correct email as nobody seemed to answer the phone.

Over an hour wait for 6 people and you blamed us for having a couple of dough balls to start, 3 mains returned 1 cold the other 2 missing roast potatoes on a Sunday roast. Offered free drinks but declined also no sign of the manager as they were to busy. Poor service and our own fault for an hour delay. Our first and last visit which is a shame as the menu looked good.

I recommend a Chicago town pizza n 8 cans of carling from co-op £3.15 for fosters which is tolerable till they run out of glasses n put then in bud glasses!!= flat fosters!!! Orderd a beef lasagna with chips at half time of football it came within 5mins with no chips which apparently i dint order n i would say the standard of lasagna is like the ones u get from heron freezer shop.. bland like jelly n pinged in microwave!!! Best part was rocket salad!!! Oh n went home and missed last 20mins of futy because ale weren't worth 15p near-mind £3.15 �

Food was bland my lads had pizza and said it was horrible I would have been better off doing my own food at home at least everyone would have enjoyed it and they burnt my lads pizza how hard is it to Cook pizza right will never eat here again a big disappointed

Can't explain how disappointed we were by our first visit here. We went for a meal for my son's birthday but we will never go again. We ordered food and was told 25/30 minutes wait which was fine. We ordered drinks and sat and waited. After an hour of still waiting we asked where the food was to be told we are plating it up now. Another 20 minutes later and our food finally turned up. Disappointed is an understatement. Every meal was cold!! My son's pizza was like rubber and my tiny portion of pulled pork looked like something the cat had thrown up. We had purchased refillable drinks for the kids as it was very hot but when I went to get them refilled the barman was too engrossed chatting up ladies to notice me for almost 10 minutes. No wonder you are losing customers!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!
