We'd been meaning to visit for quite some time & when we finally did we weren't disappointed.

Delicious food & fantastic, friendly, first class service from our waitress Beth.

Very fast service from our waiter, food was excellent, my steak cooked to perfection and piping hot. Always have a good meal here and on the very rare occasion something is not quite right, it is rectified without question. Nothing is too much trouble.

Great service. Steak cooked as ordered. Scrummy. Problem with very cold tomato sorted promptly by staff. These things happen. Lovely complimentary sweet . Left feeling it is a great place as usual. Great service and food.

User

Great place. We stopped here for breakfast. Great value. Everything was cooked fresh. As much tea, coffee, cereal, fruit and toast as you wanted. Staff were really friendly. Would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic. We had the meatballs & lamb koftas to start - both were delicious. I had a steak and my partner had a burger, both overall were great, there was a small issue with my steak being very raw when I'd asked for medium rare but they swapped it very quickly & were very apologetic about it. Puddings were also lovely. The waitress we had (Cheryl) was exceptional, really friendly and efficient, made sure we were happy & everything was ok with the food. Best customer service I've received in a restaurant in a while! Lovely evening, very pleasant experience overall. Price was also great value for money for the quality & service.

User

Excellent picturesque location great consistent Beefeater fayre and good staff. I really can't fault it. I would say however the Sunday lunch portions need to be bigger. All good though

User

Excellent food. Best mixed grill ever. Staff are lovely. Nice location. Prices on main menu expensive. Cheaper menu available though.

Came in yesterday to celebrate my husbands birthday , the restautant was pretty quiet , we ordered srarter and mains with a bottle of wine, our wine was brought immediately and starter arrived shortly , loaded potato skins , it was piping hot and delicious , our mains followed and I had particulary asked for my meal to be well done , on arrival it was piping hot and just as I had ordered , delicious , service was 100% from our waiter and will soon be doing a return visit

Called in unannounced after visiting Chatsworth Christmas Market and before driving back to Birmingham. I have to say food was lovely and the staff very friendly. Would recommend

By far one of the best places to go for a Sunday lunch. The beef is cooked to perfection and is beautiful. :) our second time there we will definitely be visiting again :)

User

Absolutely fantastic nice and polite staff x

Staff are always friendly ...good service. Good food...just a shame no Black forest trifle . New season menu in and Gin and Tonic trifle instead. x

Service was a bit slow but worth the wait and the drive to get there , good value set 3 course evening meal for £14.99 . I had not been to a Beefeater for over 20 years and it didn't disappoint , wish there were more near to where I live.

User

Had quite a wait for food as they were busy but we were served drinks while we waited. Food was good & excellent value for money. This was our first time in a long while & we will return.

User

All great .only fault was floor was dirty under the tables, and i was there when they just opened.

User

Ordered a steak cooked medium. It was an 8oz but about 4 of that was a chunk of fat hanging off the steak. The other 4 was mostly unbarable so I stopped to get something on the way home since my 8 chips didn't fill me up.

User

All a bit rubbish really. No attempt at fresh food just fried crap. We were in a rush and needed to get food, should have stopped further down the line

User

More interested in setting up for breakfast. 4 meals ordered 2 were cold and 2 others had things missing. Absolutely poor service, the only staff member who should be paid was the lad behind the bar. The only thing he didn’t do was cook. We come here about 5 times a month and today has put us off coming back. Start looking after customers who are there. Than people who are coming for breakfast the day after.

Have used many Beefeater Pubs in the past and sorry to say this was the poorest !

We called for Sunday Lunch around 130 and were given menus but not the Sunday lunch one so we presumed it was the normal menu only, l say normal menu there where approx ten items that were unavailable!

The beer was just about ok nothing special and the food was on the same level and quite a small portion, l don’t want half a plate of coleslaw and salad at a meat based chain , there were no offers of extra chips etc.

It had the feel of an understaffed restaurant and we certainly won’t be returning
