The RS is different, way different how I remember it twenty years ago!

The RS is a viable successor to the Wapentake of Old.. or the Classic rock bar. Jo is a presently a DJ presenter on the self same radio show (dedicated to one of Yorkshire's greatest rock bars.) Indeed, co Wap-spirit presenter B.P Jarren is involved on the DJ, Music and Exciting future Psyche Rock Extravaganza' side.

Played here today in my band. Great staff, bands looked after, Felt welcome. Most of all a well looked after pint of Guinness. Thank you.

Only called in for a pint before the game. As a visiting fan I found the people in there really friendly and we had a good laugh and chat. The staff are really friendly and they have a good choice of drinks and some really nice ales

It has always been a good watering hole. I call in regular on route to Bramall Lane. Not seen many gigs, but love reading all The Flyers and The Music Promotions. Takes mi back in time. The Old West Street Limit Club was my 2nd home, along with The Top Rank and Craisy Daisy n8 club. timeless eternal venues. Along with Hoylands Bird Cage n8 club, Punk n8s. Then later was The Monk wood Hotel, Mexbro and Swintons N8 club of choice from The Mods/Skins /New Romantics :-)

Great place run by top musicians that put on great nights. Food really good pizzas spot on. Need to come back when I'm out drinking

Good friendly pub bar staff are quick to serve drinks,seen some great groups over the years,my son and me meet here for a couple of pints prior seeing TRAWW,

First visit to RS bar we went to see a band there, great atmosphere obviously a great music venue. An amazing selection of real ales just missed the food service but from what others said it was really good. Great fun bar staff who obviously enjoyed being there. Will definitely go back!!

Class pub! Been in a few times now, tried the food over the weekend and was stop on. Will be returning more often!

Cane here as an away football supporter and the welcome and banter were great, the place just oozes music and history. Definitely a place to visit if you're in Sheffield.

Brilliant quirky little pub, all the staff are really friendly, and there is always something going on to keep you entertained!

A really warm and friendly welcome, great for music, great for atmosphere from both the perspective of artists and punters. A venue ran by musicians who really get what music is about and are especially accommodating and positive with young talented musicians. Every city should have an RS Bar :)
