Greyhound Trust Sheffield have sent us this lovely picture : This is Tom ...their longest staying resident ...he's been with them since 26/10/17 So is spending his 2nd Christmas with them...as you can see he's getting into the festive spirit already. PLEASE come along and support this wonderful charity (and Tom) this Sunday 18th November for their annual Christmas Fair 10am - 3pm - we have some wonderful stalls and activities for you. (sorry no dogs allowed in the building - unless assistance dogs) PS TOM NEEDS A FOREVER HOME COULD WE HELP FIND HIM ONE? - please share

This is NOT at The Venue but it's a simply wonderful idea and we want to help promote it, so please share it, or if you know of someone that would benefit please contact them and tell them about it. A lovely Christmas event for all the family

Stocksbridge & Districts Womens Institute host their first Christmas Market with The Venue on December 8th 5pm -8pm - PLease come along and support them in this new venture. Over 40 stalls for all those lovely Christmas presents, gifts and special foods & GIN!

We are on the countdown to this wonderful event, will be posting some more stalls goodies and gifts this week - take the strain out of Christmas shopping by shopping locally and get a truly unique gift for those "difficult" to buy for friends and family... just imagine all your Christmas shopping done this weekend?!

The Venue is delighted to be hosting the Stocksbridge Town Council - Senior Citizens Christmas Party 2018* on Wednesday 12th December 2018 12 noon If you would like to attend or know someone who would like to then councilors will be issuing tickets at Stocksbridge Town Council from 10am -noon on Tuesday 27th November and Thursday 29th November * eligibility criteria apply

We held a cat show at the Venue on 7 April 2018 and I cannot speak too highly about it. The staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. All the people attending were so impressed by the service they received.

The food provided was excellent.

We will definitely be back next year

We have booked our wedding reception here in June 2018. I just wanted to leave a review from when we called in to drop our documents off this Saturday (without contacting them prior). I am so impressed with the friendly and efficient service. They took time despite having an organised event on to discuss our seating plan and reassure us of the details. Looking forward to celebrating there soon.

We had our Club Christmas Party here recently. Excellent service from booking right through to the event itself. Staff on the night were excellent. Facilities were great - and a reasonably priced bar! We opted for buffet food, which had a good variety - and catered for vegans and vegetarians too. Very much looking forward to having our Presentation Night here in 2018.

Lovely place and wonderful disco tonight. Kids loved it and a great atmosphere

Had a great car boot in 27th jan staff very friendly and a great atmosphere I have Also been to a few functions here very nice place and welcoming
