Winter Green Description
The Winter Green opened its doors on the 21st July 2014. Situated just off the M1 on Junction 1 on the Parkway we are the perfect place for a bite to eat. Boasting an excellent and varied menu with Carvery at the heart of it, the Winter Green makes an 'illuminating' venue to dine with friends and family. Children will love our dedicated kids menu and indoor and outdoor play areas, allowing you to relax with a meal, or a choice from our great range of drinks. Including an excellent choice of cask ales from Marston's five breweries, a great wine selection, featuring choices from the Rothschild wineries as well as a range of soft drinks and spirits. So come along and bring the family, you won't be disappointed.

We've made our Carvery even BETTER!
Lamb, Lamb, Lamb, LambŌĆ”ŌĆ”.Due to the fantastic feedback of our lamb trial it looks like lamb is here to stay! So this Sunday we will be serving our usual slow cooked Beef, Gammon and Turkey and now we have our Slooooooooww Roasted Lamb! Our Lamb will be cooking throughout the night (just like our Beef does) so itŌĆÖs juicy and tenderŌĆ”ŌĆ”.So come on down Sunday and try our delicious Lamb! We have a post box in the entrance to the pub where all the children can post their Special Letters to Santa......
The Head Elf will pass your letters onto Santa......and IF your on the NICE list.......Santa will write back and acknowledge he's received your letter!
... ........and I'm sure he'll tell his elves to make you your special toy as well.
IMPORTANT......please put your name and address on your letters.....Just to make sure Santa can write back, as Santa receives hundreds of letters this time of year and we don't want you to think your on the NAUGHTY list.
Please Remember Santa is a very Busy man.....but he has promised to respond within 48hrs.

COMPETITION TIME!
We are holding a sponsered Cycle-thon in aid of Mike, to help raise the much needed funds for his alternative treatment.
Mike is fighting a Brain Tumour and is showing everyone around him what a positive attitude can do........Mike's a fighter and is refusing to let his brain tumour win.
... So on 9th December from 8am - 8pm at night we will be cycling continously for 12 hours solid........So how far can we cycle in 12 hours??? What will our total mileage be?
The competition is to WIN a Festive Meal for 4 persons!
