Visit the Christmas markets of Brugge and get in the holiday spirit on this festive day-trip from London. Travel by air-conditioned coach to the UNESCO World Heritage–listed town of Brugge with a guide. On arrival, browse the markets and boutiques at your leisure and soak up the holiday atmosphere in Brugge’s medieval town square. Perhaps enjoy a skate at the ice rink or simply relax in a café with a warming hot cho...colate (own expense). Meet your guide around 6am in central London’s Earls Court and begin the journey to the port to take either the Eurotunnel or a ferry to France. Travel onward through France to the UNESCO World Heritage–listed town of Brugge, in Belgium. Arrive in the heart of the city and enjoy free time to explore the medieval streets and visit the Christmas markets at your leisure.
Soak up the atmosphere among the pretty boutiques and shops — where tradespeople sell Christmas goodies such as chocolates, souvenirs, and beautiful hand-made decorations from their festive stalls. Admire landmarks like the Church of Our Lady or the Basilica of the Holy Blood, and perhaps sample some of the festive treats on offer — such as delicious gingerbread, Belgian chocolates, mulled wine, or Belgian Christmas beer. Perhaps take a spin on the open-air ice rink, or find a welcoming café for a Belgian beer or hot chocolate (own expense).
At approximately 5:30pm, begin your return journey to central London where your tour will come to an end.
Please note: times for the French and Belgian portions of the trip are in local time, which is one hour ahead of London.

Get ready to leave the restaurant and make your way to Canary Wharf pier at 21:30. The boat will be ready to depart at 22:15 and you will be taken down the river to admire the sights of London. Enjoy a leisurely trip away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre before heading back to the pier at 01:45 for the end of your evening.

DAY 1
After the central London pickups, depart for Dover to catch the 9:30am ferry crossing to Calais. Upon arrival at approximately 12pm, you’ll continue the journey to Valkenburg, Holland, where you’ll check in to your hotel. The rest of the day and evening are left for you to explore the town and Christmas markets.
You may enjoy watching the magical light parade of beautifully decorated floats traveling through the center or visiting Santa’s Village where you can enjoy a bite to eat while visiting the man himself, Father Christmas, for some special photos.
DAY 2
On the second day of the trip, after breakfast in your hotel, you’ll greet your guide outside the hotel, and you will begin your journey to Boppard, Germany.
Upon arrival, you’ll have some free time before boarding the Rhine Cruise and enjoying the impressive views. At approximately 12:30pm, meet the coach and travel to Aachen. Here you will be able to spend the afternoon exploring the 125 stalls at the Christmas markets which vary in goods from original hand-crafted decorations to stylish luxury goods. Make sure you also grab some of the famous gingerbread before departing back to the hotel at around 5pm.
DAY 3
On the third day of your trip, after breakfast, commence your return journey to London but enjoy a lunch time stop in the beautiful medieval city of Bruges in Belgium before you return. Bruges’ Christmas market setting is truly beautiful with cobbled streets, historical buildings, and stalls filled with Christmas goodies such as chocolates and sweets.
Depart Brugge for your ferry crossing at 7:30pm, expected to arrive back into central London at around 11pm.
