You pay for what you get no frills gym; good classes can’t go wrong for the money; now if you want luxury showers, a pool etc go elsewhere

Not as posh as some, but has everything you need. Would have got 5 stars but for the lack of wifi and drinking water tap / fountain.

I used to go to this gym just over a year ago. It was Great, staff helpful, place clean and looked impressive for the money. Rejoined and yesterday I went to a scruffy looking gym, machines and toilets out of order. Staff didn't seem bothered and no security entrance so anyone could walk in. In 6 months time I'll be cancelling my membership. Reviews have confirmed my findings. Really disappointed.

The parking fines being given out are a disgrace. Why can’t they link your thumb print admission system to your car registration/registrations if you have more than 1 car. Staff don’t want to know and don’t care.

Loved this gym when I first started going a few years ago but it has seriously gone down hill. Lots of great instructors have left that were excellent, who really motivated people, now we have some instructors that for example sit on the spin bikes just telling you what to do instead of doing with the class. The amount of classes that are cancelled at very short notice (as in 10-15mins before it’s due to start when you’re basically sat waiting) is ridiculous and no reason is ever given. It is a cheap gym which is obviously reflected in the service you now get, but it’s just a shame it’s gone so rapidly down hill with many people leaving and going elsewhere, including some really good instructors. For an extra £5 per month you can go down the road for better service

Today at Xercise4Less Rotherham. I have put my bag in a working locker using an Xercise4Less padlock.



After finishing my session I came to my locker to realise my bag had been moved and tampered with, and was taken round to the shower area. The low life’s have taken money from my wallet and details of my cards, they had put my cards back in different places they have made 2 transactions in 2 minutes to an online betting company. I have had to ring and cancel all my cards and contact the police. While I was online to my bank they tried a 3rd transaction to the same company.



If anyone has any information or saw anything dodgy between 3:15pm and 4pm today around the men’s locker room, info will be much appreciated.



I also want to know if anyone has any advice as to weather the gym can be held responsible if I have put my stuff in a locked locker using their facilities,

When u rush to get to a class on time and staff don't have the courtesy to let you know a class is cancelled. Over 15/20 women/men waiting and no one thinks to go over and let us know it's cancelled. I asked a staff member who said "oh it's cancelled " to which I said why have you not told any one? And surprise surprise 2 mins after me walking away a email was sent at 6.08 to say class cancelled yet the class should have started at 6pm. This is the 3rd time now it's been cancelled and no one has informed anyone of. Very sloppy and unfair when people are running around trying to get to a class on time.

When this place opened it was a very good gym and you got what you paid for, sadly over the last 12 months the place is falling apart. Showers constantly out of order, toilets flooded, carpets ripped , countless pieces of equipment out of order and no sign of any service engineers. The staff are completely uninterested, can’t recall the last time anyone on reception lifted there head to say hello or even acknowledge you. There are better gyms for similar costs nearby and you get a lot more for your money including working air conditioning which appears to be a foreign concept to these guys.

When I started going to this gym it was ok. Cheap & cheerful - equipment was ok, some really good classes on.

Towards the end of 2017 it really went downhill. There was never a manager available. Cancelled classes with no warning. Never any hot water. Started to look a bit tatty.

CANCELLING THE CONTRACT IS A NIGHTMARE!! You can never get to speak to anyone, even cancelling online doesn’t work! You will have collection agencies hounding you for months after! Keep all correspondence from Xercise4Less because you will need it!

What a dump, lots of people complaining about getting fines in the car park, they have a parasite car parking company fining it's OWN MEMBERS for not parking perfectly in the lines, fair enough to have a go at people for not parking correctly but to fine them, DISCRACFUL, don't join this shit hole, don't give them your business

Very poorly maintained equipment, very poor, unprofessional and amateur staffing. And when cancelled direct debit, threatened with third party debt collection. Very, very poor customer service. To all future fitness freaks, avoid this gym company like the plague, there are far better facilities around

So you asked me back in May why I wish to cancel my membership......because I disagree with how you operate. I contacted my local manager months ago to access my W number and was ignored. It took a marginally negative comment on your social media and suddenly it’s all “how can I help”. I submitted my request on 14th May. 30 days notice takes us to 13th June. Your website said 1 further payment would be taken if DD was due within that 30 day period. I allowed a payment to be taken on 24th May and than cancelled my DD as quite frankly having heard how you operate I didn’t trust that you wouldn’t take further payments. I now get a text saying account in default and threatening me with debt collectors....what a crock!!!

Its a con !! Ya think ya paying less but in long run all customers are geting skankt big time !!!!!!!!!! Robing people blind!!!

I wouldn't even sign up they sign you up with false information. And the condition are horrid. The toilet and changing rooms are disgusting flooded, mess on the walls, can't even get changed if you got a medical injury forget about cancelling even if declared prior to sign up and on medical form its disgusting. The customer service is horrid. The trainer don't know how to help anyone they give wrong Information for medical injuries. Horrid company, just go for a jog outside waste of money.

I only went a few times and it was scruffy both the toilets and the changing rooms were disgusting. I wouldn't even let my dog wash in there. I had a 12 month contract and cancelled after 19 months after never using the place. Now my partner has received emails stating we both owe £171 each from a debt agency. How's this possible when the contract was 12 months and only £9.99 a month? My partner has only just seen the emails due to them going to her spam box. Dont do it or sign up to anything the robbing b######s

Had my locker broken in car keys and ipod stolen because of the incompetence of the gym management leaving all fire exits open, open invite for all local thieves and a health and safety breach. Numerous emails to customer services with not a single reply, same with the gym manager who says waiting for the regional managers reply 6 weeks and 0 results. the WORST customer service hands down, half the equipment is broke, no aircon. and the management is a joke so... AVOID!!! at all costs

Cancelled membership after less than a week, they allowed me to book classes that weren't even running anymore, only found out when I got there, told I'd be contacted by a manager about it - never was. Both times I went I wasn't made to feel welcome, wasn't shown around, no mention of an induction, any questions i asked felt like I was talked down to. I've visited and been a member of a fair few gyms and never given a bad review before now.

Avoid this gym and company like the plague. Tied to a contract even though I can't even use the gym because of health. Won't let me cancel. Then charge £25 per missed direct debit which they think is OK to take from the bank when they want.

Absolutely disgusted that you have a private parking fines company trying to rip your customers off. £100 fine for a tyre being 5mm over the bay line. How can you do that to your PAYING customers. Disgrace.
