Leisure Attendant (Pool Lifeguard)
Location: Hoyland Leisure Centre
Hours of Work: 14.5 hours per week... (Tues 7pm – 9pm, Fri 7pm – 10.30pm, Sun 7.45am – 4.45pm)
Rate of Pay: up to £7.83 per hour depending on age
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the leisure team at Hoyland Leisure Centre, supervising swimmers and providing high levels of guest care. Candidates must have passed both the foundation and professional modules of the National Pool Lifeguard qualification (NPLQ) and be able to pass BPL’s water safety test. In addition we are looking for candidates who have a great personality and the commitment to provide our guest’s with great customer service that will really make a difference to their visit.

This is my second home! Most of staff are really helpful and instructors are fabulous! I attend a lot of classes and the other members that attend are really friendly! I have made some amazing friends!

also able to get on and use the machines , staff friendly and very helpful

Really good gym an pool Ellis the live guard is brill looks after an give you tips to improve your swimming to make it easy for your self allways got time for people from young to old he's a good part of a fantastic team you Ave got hoyland

My second home,the staff are helpful and polite the classes are fab the gym as up to date equipment and I've met some amazing new friends over the years I've been a member.

My first week at this gym and i cant fault it, extensive range of new machines/equipment, easily accessible. Currently in process of a re-furb so going to be even better in month or so, had a tour of the building a month before joining. Excellent.

My daughters having swimming lessons here with Lauren and she's doing brilliant .. Lauren is brilliant ... I must also say how amazing Adam is who teachers there occasionally during half terms ... my little girl has one-ones with him and she loves him .... he's really brilliant!!

Luving the classes & gym facilites cud do with sauna tho like metrodome it wud be nice

I had a massive phobia of deep water. The people teaching me were fantastic they helped my overcome my biggest fear and boosted my confidence I cannot wait to go back next Monday. Thank you so much

Friendly helpful staff and a range of classes to suit everyone. I did the studio cycling then cv worx thoroughly enjoyed both, J the instructor is great, explaining what we are doing and the benefits. Have also done the aqua which is fun, the weights are great with this session.

Fantastic gym everything you need in one place, i find this gym better than metrodome best gym in the area staff are friendly and very knowledgable
