In joining 100 Field Squadron as a Military Engineer you will be trained to become well qualified in your chosen field.

As a combat engineering unit we carry out construction tasks to support military operations and humanitarian relief, you could train as a communications specialist, a driver, a plant operator mechanic, operating the plant used on operations, or a combat engineer - carrying out explosive demolitions, construction of roads, water supply and defending positions.

If you join and become a Royal Engineer Officer, you would plan, command and control engineering tasks, as well as organising resources and the career management of your soldiers.

We also recruit support staff. There are opportunities to be trained in human resources, as chefs and logistic specialist, and there are plenty of chances to deploy worldwide on exercises and operations, or to travel on Adventure Training expeditions.
