12Th Penarth Scout Group

12th Penarth Scout Group meet weekly during school term time at Glyndwr Community Centre, Penarth and consists of a beaver colony, cub pack and scout group.

The 12th Penarth (St. Joseph's) Scout Group was formed in September 2013 with just a Beaver Scout Colony, a Beaver Scout Leader and some parent occasional helpers. To ensure we had a second leader present, a leader from the 1st Penarth has been present.

A Cub Scout Pack followed in January 2014 with a Cub Scout Leader, an Assistant Cub Scout Leader and a number of Occasional Helpers.

All three sections use to meet at St. Joseph's R. C. Primary School in Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan on the Mondays (beavers and cubs) and Wednesdays (scouts) during school term time.

But the group is now in the process of moving out of the school and into new premises. From September 2019 we are planning to use Glyndwr Community Centre in Penarth as our new meeting place and HQ and we are hoping to keep the same meeting times, but watch this space (and page) for the latest updates.
