Made a lot of good friends here and when we could enjoyed a fair bit of fun.
I love the whole place great place to be
After joining the Regiment 5 years ago I have gained many skills and forged friendships like no other.
As a Marketing Consultant I apply techniques learnt from the military to give my civilian clients clear and concise advice, and use the same teaching methodology in the classroom.
As a driver with the Army, I've gained thousands of pounds worth of training whilst getting paid to learn. This doubles up as a fallback career should my civilian work hit a dry spell.
I regularly take part in adventure activities such as rock climbing and kayaking and also represent Army Reserve Wales & 157 Regiment in rugby with games played at Cardiff Arms Park.
Earning money whilst learning new skills, qualifying for cash bonuses and military discounts on the high street are just a small number of incentives to join.
My only regret is that I didn't join sooner.
