1St Barrhead Scout Group - Paisley & District

For the next 8 weeks this fabulous group will be using our hall. Mosb is a musical theatre drama group which caters for adults 18-30 who have additional special needs. They are currently working on a new show with lots of acting, singing and dance.
They welcome new members and volunteers. No experience necessary, it's fun, friendly and a great way to meet new people

No Cubs tonight as the schools are off. Back as normal next week.

Reports are they are having fun, meeting new people and catching up with friends

Congratulations to Kirstie, Georgia, Erin and Molly from 1st Barrhead ESU
They won the District Ready Steady Cook. Challenge last night. It was to do a bit of fusion cooking with food from Scotland and other cultures.

This weekend 3 of our volunteers are at Lapwing Lodge doing their Leader training.

I received a mysterious parcel today in the post.
Items from another ex 14th Renfrew Scouter.
Amongst the books was a copy of the 40 years of 14th Renfrew And a copy of Powsodie (the groups magazine)
... Love the wee saying from inside it.
Makes me proud to be GSL of such an old group
