2300 (St. Athan) Squadron Air Cadets Description
- We are 2300 Squadron Air Cadets, the only squadron in South Wales on an active RAF base.
- Squadron nights are are open to anyone aged 12 to 17 who would like to become an Air Cadet. There are no fitness or educational requirements and no obligation to join the RAF later.
- We are also looking for adult volunteers aged 20 + (No previous experience needed) to join as Civilian Instructors (with later option to apply to go into uniform - please note this is not a route into the RAF)
- RAF St Athan is just outside the village of St Athan, and about a mile outside Llantwit Major, but there are squadrons all over South Wales; if RAF St Athan is too far away for you then use the "Squadron finder" on the Air Cadets website to find your nearest. http://www. raf. mod /aircadets
- To join us or any other Squadron just turn up on a parade evening and ask to speak to the Officer Commanding. Prospective cadets should bring a parent or guardian with them if possible.
