About 2478 Abergavenny Squadron Atc - Rafac

Welcome to the page of 2478 (Abergavenny) Squadron.

We will be posting the achievements of the Cadets and Squadron throughout the year.

2478 Abergavenny Squadron Atc - Rafac Description

The Squadron has been active in Abergavenny since 1954, and in that time it has offered many young adults from the local area a wide range of activities, experiences and opportunities.

Many cadets have gone on to enjoy successful careers in HM Armed Forces or indeed in civilian life, with many able to recount what they gained from the Air Training Corps as helping them make the decisions to do what they have done.

More than 60 years on and the Squadron offers more than it has ever done. While going through a rebranding phase the Air Training Corps still offers a great range of activities, experiences and opportunities these include but are not limited to:

Air Experience Flying
Annual Camp at RAF Stations
Adventure Training

Flying Scholarship
Fieldcraft
First Aid Training
International Air Cadet Exchange
Junior Leaders
Leadership

and much more.

As with everything in life, you get out what you put in. Anyone can achieve their full potential and it starts with taking your first step into a new world, and seizing the opportunities presented to you.

So whats stopping you? Challenge yourself and become part of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets!
