I had a good overall experience with 4let, when ever I had an issue they would have it sorted by the next day, their handyman would be around within 24hrs, and when we had issues with our central heating british gas was sent around by the next morning.

Happily lived in my flat for 2 years, the flat was to a high standard and we had a cleaner sent to to clean out communal area every few weeks.

Worse letting Agency ever!
Everything they do is practically illegal, such as putting students and workers together in house requiring then a "no sense" Council tax exemption to gain dirty money. Houses are dirty and abandoned, they are lazy in solving problems (such as boiler) and we also found mice in our kitchen. You really have to fight to get back your deposit, they will try to find any excuse to keep it; Going to the student union and presenting all illegal stuff they do is a way to blackmail them. Be careful with Mr. Zaid guys!

DO NOT USE - total and utter crooks.
By the way - I wanted to leave no stars here but that's not an option, you have to put one before it allows you to move on!

Run by a fool. STAY AWAY scummy I have never seen a worse letting agency it's all professional until you hand over your money.

Choose living in a hostel over using 4let. I really mean it; there are so many better options. We had issue after issue that they never even tried to resolve. The house required work before we moved in and it was written into the contract that it would be done before we moved in. A few days before move in day it was apparent that they were not trying to meet these deadlines. The only way we could deal with them was to go into the office. They block your number and hang up on you because it is easier than resolving your problem.

Amongst other problems, it was really hard to get our deposit back. The landlord (who was perfectly average) agreed to our full deposit being returned. They dragged it out for ages avoiding my calls. I called from work and they immediately answered. I was speaking to Zaid, the boss, and he insisted that it was due to technical problems. When I asked why this had taken 3 months to be told this, he didn't know. He said that the woman we were dealing with had been in charge and that she had since left the organisation. When I made it clear that I absolutely did not believe him he said "I find that very offensive" and hung up.

The next day I went into the office and confronted him. The woman I was used to dealing with, who had apparently left, was sat at her desk.

Not only are 4Let the worst letting agency I've ever dealt with, they are the worst organisation I have ever had the displeasure of having any kind of contact with in my life.
I simply can't believe any of the positive reviews on Google are real - I have never been treated so consistently cruely. They hang up on you, they may block your number, they will not keep to any of their opening hours and they will consistently lie to your face.
I'm not sure if they get pleasure out of deliberately leaving you in substandard living conditions (doors missing, ants on the floor, holes in the wall) or if they are entirely out of their depth in attempting to run a business.
They will tell you that all letting agencies get reviews this bad - they don't - go for CPS or Micheal Jones - both brilliant agencies.

The property was defiantly not up to scratch and had some problems with it. After deciding to move out the company owner made it his mission to make it a pain free move out . He was very understanding of the issues. Overall not awesome but credit needs to be given to zaid for being a great help
