Remember what your parents told you about strangers with sweeties?

Maybe they were wrong?

Every day we move through public spaces just inches away from the most interesting people we've never met.
Too many chance meetings are going un-met, too many stories unwritten and too many adventures unstarted.
All in the name of playing it safe, worrying what people might think and keeping things all very British.



I dream of a world where starting a conversation with a total stranger is not daunting or unusual but totally expected.

But with my sights set on total global social reform I realise I'm going to have to start with a smaller venue.

Even some kind of Cafe come Shrine to 'breaking down social barriers' lies somewhat further down the road as things stand.

So here begins not standing still.
Join me on a journey of culinary capers and edible escapades. With a bit of your help I might be able to do something reasonably worthwhile!
