Many people have asked about the costs to fixing the Kennels, and we promised you we would try and explain.
We have done an investigation and we cannot find an explanation as to why there wasn’t a claim put in on the building insurance, as no formal minutes were kept that we can find. We can only assume it’s because there was enough money to cover the costs from a large legacy in 2017. (We now keep formal minutes of each meeting)
As this was the last legacy the rescue recei...ved, it did impact funds and has left us in the situation we are now. We, as new Trustees, can only deal with the decisions since December, however we will apologise on their behalf and will do everything we can to fix it.
On a brighter note, the dogs are safer, warmer and it’s so much brighter in the kennels.
