Abbey Farm Caravan Park Description
Set at the bottom of the Horseshoe Pass in Llangollen, We offer pitches for touring caravans, motor homes and tents with or without electric. Our camping pods are becoming ever more popular situated near the stream we have 12 all together. We have 3 self catering cottages 2 that sleep 4 people and one large house that sleeps 14 people. We also have static caravans and lodges all which are privately owned, and we always have a selection for sale.
Onsite we have 2 central heated toilet and shower blocks, washing up area and laundry room.
We also have our Bistro which serves breakfast, lunch and evening meals and has a fully licensed bar. Opening times vary throughout the season.
We also have our shop which from Easter - October stocks fresh bread, milk, camping essentials and houses our butchers counter.

*Notice for all visitors this weekend* Please be aware that the horseshoe pass is now closed due to the fires, there are signs on the road up to the campsite stating the roads ahead are closed - please note all businesses are OPEN as usual and you can get up to the campsite. been here a few times over the years with the family clan, brilliant campsite, fantastic views!! very helpful staff and other campers are very kind and polite, the only thing that is missin is a play area for kids above 4!! fantastic food and drink in the pub too, cant wait to come back again!! thanks everyone at abbey farm.
We went here to celebrate a birthday, as a restaurant that couldn't have been any more accommodating.. food, atmosphere and service was fantastic... thankyou �
We have a static caravan on the site lot of improvements over the last few months the skip area is a lot better as long as people adhere to the signs shower block I believe has been greatly improved do not use so not seen the bistro food is great we had Sunday lunch there last week and it was lovely John and all the staff are very helpful thanks for all you do
Stayed in the pods great weekend fabulous food in the bistro friendly staff facilities very clean would highly recommend and beautiful location 😬X

Lots of improvements over the last 12 months. Great site, great staff, great location and lovely food in the bistro. Perfect for a relaxing holiday and lots of space for the kids to play. Highly recommended!
I love this place and the staff and the family who run the farm nothing is too much trouble and they all have time to spend with you I would recommend this site to anyone who wants a place of tranquility, somewhere to enjoy a few drinks with friendly people and a place where children can have the freedom to play
Great place, stayed in the pods many times. A big thanks to Paul who last time got us out of the mud and this time gave us a run down on the wildlife! ���
Came over the August bank holiday camping site is beautiful and the bistro was lovely food Especially the roast beef dinner �� I think the toilets/showers could do with an upgrade but this wouldn't stop me coming back definitely would recommend, lovely walks too see you again Abbey Farm �

A great site, lovely view on camp site, nice stream for kids to walk through and a lovely walk to Llangollen it's 2 1/4 miles away one thing is about of the walk is you have to walk on road for a bit .

Very nice camp site set by the ruined abbey. The only down side was the showers were not very good. A short drive in to Llangollen. The on site bar is great as are the people who run it and the owner. I would definitely come here again.
It is a lovely site but yes toilets need updating or more regular cleaning and pot wash is awfull but on a plus the site resturant does stunning food with excellent staff. Lamping at midnight very scarey and upset the dogs with light shining through tent very alarming. I know this goes on but right into your tent seriously dangerous when gun was fired i was horrified. Because of this will never return sorry.
very pretty site sheltered by hills and woodland, very busy at weekends in the summer with plenty of none ehu pitches, gets noisy and roudy at times. the only thing that lets this site down are the toilets , showers and pot wash, they are very dated and dropping to bits, water isn't that hot and showers struggle to cope as only three on the lower part of the site and same at the top of the field, 2 urinals and three toilets for the men, need updating
