IS ANYBODY MISSING A DOG? Male collie X was just picked up by a member of the public in abergwyngregen just before he ran onto the a55. Sadly no identification on him. He is ok, but due to lack of kennel space he is not staying with us. The finder has agreed to keep him overnight and we have given him some food and water etc. If this is your dog please contact the kennels on 01248 680769 or send us a PM if later on and we will pass the finders details on. If no one comes forward by morning he will be collected by the dog warden. Please share. Many thanks.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING BOARDING YOUR PETS WITH US.
Places are filling up fast from Easter onwards, with some dates already full. So if you need your pet to stay with us please make sure you book them in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Please note that we are only able to board pets that are FULLY VACCINATED (including kennel cough vaccine for dogs) and all the vaccinations must have been completed 14 DAYS BEFORE boarding commences. This policy also applies t...o BOOSTER VACCINES. Vaccination records must be presented when dropping your pets off.
This policy is in place for the safety of all the animals under our care. We cannot board any animals that do not meet these requirements so please ensure that your pets vaccinations are up to date and their vaccination records have been signed by your vet.
If you have any questions regarding your pets vaccinations please call us in plenty of time so that we can advise you accordingly.

National walking the doggies day for guide dogs! Today the kennel staff and ebb and toffee participated by walking up to Aber falls. We were joined by Gillian, Duwch and Dufan. It was a lovely day for a walk and the humans and the dogs really enjoyed themselves. It was great to meet lots of people whilst walking and we would like to thank all the people that donated very generously to this very good cause. :-)

We will be meeting in the bottom car park and walking slowly up to the falls and back (should take approximately 2 hours). If anyone would like to come along and join us, you are more than welcome. Set of 2 metal lockers. Dimensions 0.9m x 0.4m deep x 1.7m tall. These do not lock and we only have a couple of shelves for them. Collection only from the kennels. Coming up on Thursday 22nd Feb is walking the dog day to raise money for guide dogs. The staff at Aber falls kennels will be participating by walking up Aber falls.

SEARCHING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME. Meet Jacko an 8month old JRT (male). Jacko was handed into us from a local family. Jacko is a really nice little lad. BUT he is incredibly nervous. We have had him for a bit and he has improved with kennel staff during this time and he now loves going for a walk with us. As he is so nervous we have not tried him with other dogs yet. Jacko needs a calm household to l...ive in with owners who are prepared to work slowly with him to overcome his nervousness. When scared Jacko will wet himself so any potential owners need to expect quite a few accidents. Sorry, but due to Jackos needs, no homes with children under 10 will be considered.

UPDATE: we have given this t shirt to Hounds First Sighthound Rescue who we believe will auction it off, so if anyone is interested please keep an eye open on their website. Hounds first have massively helped us out this year, taking on some difficult and challenging dogs from us and covering some pretty expensive vets bills and without their help these dogs would have not found their forever homes. Many thanks to the Hounds First team :-)

ABER FALLS KENNELS AND CATTERY.
We provide both day and overnight boarding for your dogs and cats :-)
Most of our Facebook followers know us through our rescue/rehoming services. However, primarily Aber Falls kennels and cattery is a boarding facility for cats and dogs.
... Located just off the A55 (junction 13) the kennels and cattery is easily accessible for you to drop off your pets.
We are open 8.30-5 on weekdays and 8.30-3 at weekends. Staff are on site throughout these times so that you can drop off and pick up your pets throughout the day. (Alternative pick up & drop off times can sometimes be accommodated but must be pre arranged).

We had a collie named sian she's beautiful and also took our other dog for a trial in boarding the staff are fantastic,friendly, and they are very caring I would like to thank all the staff for all there help

We can't thank the staff enough for taking care of our boy Mr Rico. They couldn't of taken better care of him. We've never left him before as he's been adopted from gran canaria . we had nothing to worry about. We know how much hard work he can be and they took care of him just like we would. He will definitely be going on his holidays again soon so thanks to you all from us and Mr Rico x highly recommend x

These kennels are run very professionally by true animal lovers. The animals are happy and healthy and our cat always comes home looking really well cared for. I highly recommend this kennels as a home from home for your precious family members. I trust them with mine completely.

Porridge has come home really happy after 6 days at aber falls -fantastic kennels and staff thank you for looking after our baby so well

Porridge had a lovely time we could tell she'd had fun and was happy. She was excited to see us but looked wistfully out of the window as we left just like we did when we left our hotel lol. Thank you all very much she will be back.

Our rescue terrier Moss has really blossomed since staying with you as a day boarder and occasional over nighters. You are all really kind and friendly.

I will definately use Aber Falls again, I was worried about putting my pampered pooch into board, but my mind was quickly put at ease, the staff were very helpful & friendly and also sent me a wee picture of my boy just to put my mind at ease.

I was worried about leaving my two spoiled bull terriers in kennels for the first time but I needn’t have been. Very professional and accommodating staff and very clean kennels. Both of my dogs are happy and well after their visit and I can see that they have been taken good care of. Would highly recommend �

Helen, Eddie and staff are absolutely amazing. Our three girls ( our two Labradors and "the little lovable monster" our son's terrier) have been going to Helen now for 21 months having never been in kennels before. Helen welcomed us with open arms didn't need to make an appointment to look round we were shown round there and then. They stayed overnight the following week just to see how they went on, they came out fussing Helen wagging their tails and we've never looked back. Helen had taken on board everything we'd said to her about them. Abigail is quite frightened of other dogs and people, we'd opted for the three to share and been shown the kennel. When we arrived the following day we were shown to a different kennel Helen immediately explained if she used the kennel she had originally shown us before she knew Abi was frightened Abigail would have had to walk past all the other kennelled dogs to get into the compound , which would have traumatised her. What a caring lady. They are regular visitors now and always come home happy. Thanks Helen , Eddie and co for caring and loving our girls as we do X

For the last couple of months Daisy Saoirse and Blaze have been staying at aber kennels every weekend. They go into the kennels happy and come home happy. Thank you to Helen and all the staff at aber kennels for looking after them.

Fantastic staff, fantastic facilities. My dog absolutely loves coming here and he always gets a very warm welcome. Lucy the groomer is fantastic, my medium haired Gsd looks amazing when she's worked her magic on him. I highly recommend Aber falls kennels and catery.
