We've had some great sunsets in the last month.

User

What a stunning find right by the beach lovely people and what a view 👍

User

Well where to start....

The views let's start with the views. If you want to see the sea point to wards the sea. If you like mountains and hills point towards the hills and if you like neither STOP camping.

All in all the best views EVER on a campsite.

Toilets it has them and are decent enough and some in each field. Showers only one block but never had to wait for one(20p for 3mins). Sinks for pot washing also in ever field. All in all no grumbles with facilities.

If you like animals then there are plenty of bunnies to see after dark and during the day a couple of donkeys and a couple of goats. Oh and some ducks wandering around too.

If you like walking hills come here. If you like water sports come here. If you like a castle there are plenty around. If you like non of the above then there is plenty of other things around and about (even a sea zoo).

An add on after 5 nights here. If you think you can handle the standard pitches be warned we snapped a pole with the wind speeds and got a small tear in the tent(own fault tent was rubbing on the kitchen unit) and witnessed ours with more carnage than ours. (You have been warned).

We have been here now 4 times and have to say each time it gets better the views and scenary are beautiful mountains, hills and sea. what more do you want? Nice and quiet and safe for our 2 young boys. Very clean and near to most places, dogs welcome too. Lovely play area for children and beautiful little stream on entrance of site. Facilities are great just enough never had to queue. All in all a very welcoming place peaceful and beautiful we love it even when it's raining....fantastic sunsets too!!!!

We have become regular visitors here because it is so good. A beautiful spot, well run site and lovely owners. Just back from another visit and again didn’t want to leave. An amazing place to watch the sun set and see people on the beach in the evening around their log fires. Dog friendly (and they even allow children 😬).

User

This is now my favourite campsite. Such a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. Owners are lovely. 2 nights into our 7 nights stay. Just lovely!

User

Third time back after visiting many campsites across the country including caravan club sites this is only one of two sites we visit yearly. The views and site is just as beautiful. Wales' little bit of paradise. Showers immaculate with music playing - if you put soap on first. 20p.. 3 mins is long enough to wash your hair and get washed in the shower. Showers were never full when we have been even in peak season. There is a loo and sinks with hot water to wash hands next to campsites own private beach. Friendly owners. Open fields plenty of space for car and caravan next to each other. Swings, slide climbing net for children even a pet area with a horse, donkey and goats...don't get this on many sites. There are many fields on this campsite children play safely on top fields away from the beach and stream.

The most Beautiful campsite I've been to in a long time (and I've been a scout leader for 20 years+). Took my family and tent at the end of August last year (21st to 25th). 2 twin boy teenagers (13), 1 girl toddler (3) and mum and dad. The teenagers were happy all the time with loads to do and see, felt happy enough to let them wander off down the beach as long as they kept to my boundaries. Marshmellows and campfires on the beach and we were so lucky with the weather it didn't rain once! Facilities Excellent. Campsite location fabulous. Got recommended by a friend and I've just booked the cottage for this year!!! Fancy a bit of luxury as I'm bringing my Mum too! Loved the site so much I can't even think of going elsewhere! A hidden gem.

User

Since discovering this camp site it is our go to place. The owners are wonderful & helpful. The site is lovely. The views are stunning! Can't wait to be back as we never want to leave!

User

Probably the best campsite I've ever stayed on in the U.K. Xxx

User

It's like a secret garden with a view of the sea! The amenities are very, very good. There is also a little shop where you can get those bits you need. The ice cream man comes every day at 2pm and on Wednesdays there is a stone baked pizza guy that sets up on the top field. Also, you can have a fire on the beach. It's absolutely gorgeous! The lady who owns the place is lovely. We will book again!

User

Great views, easy to get to...cheap!! Good facilities on site, basic but they have showers, toilets etc!

You basically have a private beach too...not very sandy but it goes on for miles! Can get very windy towards the front of the site, but secure your tent well enough and you'll be fine! Couldn't find a pub nearby but you don't really camp here for that to be honest! I'd come back here again!

User

Great place hidden gem. Very tight coming down lane to site . Surrounding area beautiful love it

User

Fantastic place!

Really clean & tidy, this campsite is set in a stunning location :-)

And the lady at reception couldn't gave been more helpful

We had a big problem with our tent after 2 of the poles broke during the night in strong winds :-(

We managed to cobble them together & the nice lady at reception found us a more sheltered pitch so we could stay another night :-)

Thank you very much

User

Fantastic place by the sea. Clean and friendly and nice bbq on the beach.

Been coming here for 17 years with our kids, on our own and in the next couple of years with our grand kids. Absolutely love it here. We've been here at lots of different times of the year, in brilliant sunshine, rain, snow, a flood and storms, and still love it. Owners are fantastic and so welcoming. We've watched a seal swimming around the bay, porpoises just up the coast at Trefor, watched the raf zooming across the bay and mountains. So much to see and do. And they do the best wood fired pizza from the back of a trailer. It's our little piece of heaven and we will be coming back every year. Would like to give it 10 ⭐️

User

Beautiful place we have been going years and now our boys love running the fields #nature

User

Amazing place, spotlessly clean, breath taking scenery. Shared dinner with the ducks, so sweet.

Highly recommend and will be back soon

User

A lovely site to spend some time. Wonderful views of the local hills, and out to sea. Only a shot walk to the beach, down some steps or a walk down the grass past the caravans, if you dont do steps. The sunsets are probably what makes this sit something special, and they really don't disappoint. Seams like the whole campsite makes the effort to spend time on the beach to watch the sun set.

User

Last minute booking and what a wonderful place to stay, the beach at sunset is a must. Overall great weekend and lovely site, will be going again⛺️👍🏻
