CALLOUT. The team were tasked to investigate a possible pollution incident.
Once we all got to the location, near Fairbourne, we were able to report that weather conditions had possibly confused the original informant as nothing was found

CALLOUTS! On a gorgeous Good Friday, the team were called out twice:
First call was to a kayak paddler who had got into difficulties and after a long swim was assisted ashore by a friend. Our colleagues from Aberdyfi Lifeboat retrieved his kit. We met the casualty and working with Welsh Ambulance Service agreed his ongoing care pathway.
Second call was to assist with a lady who had become unwell on Aberdyfi beach. The Coastguard helicopter was tasked to evacuate her and the t...eam set about clearing and maintaining a landing site.
Land ambulance crew were able to attend and after circling the estuary, the helicopter was stood down. The team assisted in transporting the lady off the beach and ensuring her family's possessions were transported.

CALLOUT: The team were tasked to the south area of Tywyn to investigate what was thought to be unexploded munitions.... Happily the suspicious item turned out to be a cone from a radar assembly!
If you see anything suspicious on or near a beach, do not touch it- dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard

CALLOUT: The team were paged to assist a woman in the sea, who was attempting to help a dolphin. The Common Dolphin is usually an offshore creature and sadly this one appeared to be unwell.
We assisted until RSPCA and vets made the decision to euthanize.

CALLOUT: The team were just preparing to watch the match when we were called out to assist with a gentleman who had fallen down a cliff, injuring his leg.
Working with the Welsh Ambulance Trust and Welsh Air Ambulance we helped to load the casualty into the helicopter and on his way to hospital.

CALLOUT! Pulses raced today as we got our first call to a mud rescue. We were tasked to assist our colleagues at Barmouth.
Just as our vehicle and trailer left the yard, we received a stand down. Delighted we weren't needed, but a hint of disappointment, too.
