Friday 25th October at 16.07, Aberdyfi Lifeboat was paged after a call from a member of public who was concerned about a sail craft in trouble in the estuary. After launching the crew located a windsurfer safely ashore and after communicating with the casualty and the coast guard it turned out the windsurfer was all okay and it was deemed a false alarm with good intent. Remember if you see anyone in trouble in the water or on the coastline please do not hesitate to call 999 and ask for the coast guard. #proudofourcrowd #outonashout #rnli
Sunday the 20th of October
A rare site was spotted in Aberdyfi on Sunday with Barmouth lifeboat making an appearance alongside the jetty as part of their weekly training programme. Word soon got around and they were swiftly joined by not one but 4 other lifeboats from the surrounding area! A great way to share ideas and how we can best support each other! Thanks to Borth d classes Aberystwyth b class and Barmouths Shannon for popping over!

Friday 18th October at 14.02 Aberdyfi Lifeboat was paged to assist a kitesurfer in difficulties after a reduction in wind speed. The crew launched Hugh Miles to assist and upon arrival on scene, the kitesurfer managed to De rig his kit and the lifeboat returned him back to Aberdyfi. All was well, and the boat was washed down and ready again for service.
Please be careful when out on the beach. There have been these spotted on neighbouring beaches.
