Abersoch Dinghy Week

GJW Direct Abersoch Dinghy Week at the end of July in the beautiful seaside town of Abersoch, North Wales. It's all about sun, sea and sand!

Abersoch Dinghy Week is an annual Summer holiday event hosted by South Caernarfonshire Yacht Club in North Wales. The race format is one race per day, single handers and juniors race in the morning, double handers race after lunch. There are class starts for Juniors, Lasers, Radials, Solos, Mixed dinghies (slow & fast), RS400, RS200, Fireball, Asymmetric, Catamaran and any other classes who enter 6 or more boats. The long golden beach at Abersoch makes it perfect for families. The club house hosts the bar and restaurant with the best views across the bay. Social events include a live band (playing Saturday and Thu in 2017) and bring your own BBQ's. Many of the Dinghy Week competitors come back year after year so that tells you something!
