Aberystwyth National Coastwatch Station Description
Aberystwyth National Coastwatch Station is just one of many National Coastwatch Institution stations around the UK coast. The National Coastwatch institution was set up in 1994 to restore a visual watch along the Uk shores following the closure of a number of small Coastguard stations. National Coastwatch Institution is a Registered Charity (number 1045645). Its stations are manned by a team of fully trained volunteers (Watchkeepers) who keep a daylight watch for up to 365 days a year. The Aberystwyth Station is new and will be operational from the 16th July 2016 and if you fancy becoming a Watchkeeper get in touch with us or pop up and see us at the NCI station
